I have an XB12SS with about 1400 Miles on it and I am having some unusual wear as far as I am concerned. I am new to Buell, love the bike, maybe it is that I am not used to wearing the side of the tire.. but in the groves on the leading edge of the tire groves they are scrubbing off and severely wearing. I will attempt to load a photo of the area, but I am not having much luck. I would appreciate any info as to what the cause might be, the air pressure is fine, I haven't been on a track, I don't know what causes it, it is the first I have observed this type wear on any bike I have owned.

Make sure your tire pressures are correct AND your suspension settings are correct for your weight. |
