I look at my dogs and I can't see how anyone could ever want to watch them rip each other to shreds. If they prove he was involved, I hope they fry him..... |

Bus asked "Why oh why can't we start making examples out of crap excuses for humanity like this? " Which is a general blanket statement of why can't scum be treated like scum. I said NAACP and ACLU which believe in "special" treatment not equal treatment. Equal treatment for everyone, special treatment for no one |

If they get involed, your assertion will be supported in this case, then. If they don't, it won't. |

they WILL get involed if he is found guilty but if he is not then they will just chalk it up as a win for them. Thats how they always are. |

I like the last one firebolt, like my wife said just cut hes balls we will see if he is still a big macho after. My three amstaff's are the best behave dogs I have met and because of this story I will get even more dirty look in the street even if this time it's not a story where pit's attack someone the average peoples will still see them as mean dogs so I just backed up 10 years behind in my fight against the bad rep of pit bull/amstaff and all bully breeds. |

>>it's not a story where pit's attack << You will not win 'that fight' with me. BOTH my children were attacked and bitten by Pit Bulls. Playing on the swings in the park. Later in life my son was hospitalised as an adult when attacked by his next door neighbours Pit Bull. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/topic/story.cfm?c_id=118&objectid=10382511 I'm a real dog lover - but do not bring those *^&** anywhere near me. Both were well treated animals. In this country they are psycho by breeding. Just like breeding for 'character' has led to things like hip displaysia in German Shepherds and breathing problems in Bulldogs. Pits have been selectively bred for the combative nature and like a good shepherd Shepherd can throw a hip - A pit can just wig out. Just like the hips - not many do - but when they do.... May as well keep a loaded gun around your kids. (Message edited by danger_dave on July 20, 2007) |

Some attachments I missed. A month after he was walking down his driveway with his girlfriend.
no probs will bull terriers etc. Mat is still ok with Pits and his dog 'Dot' even has some in her.
I just can't trust them. Too many bitter first hand experiences. |

Since I was born, I was brought up around Dobermans til I was 15. I currently own 2 dogs. I have no personal experience whatsoever with pit bulls, however I was attacked by a neighbors mastiff when I was in the service, a dalmation, and a german shepard both while I was going to school, 2 separate times. I would probably feel the same way about pit bulls as danger dave does if those situations happened to me, but I'm a firm believer that it's on the individual dog and how it was treated/raised, notsomuch the breed. And with that, if a dog/animal does attack someone(and not in a playful manner), then it should be put down. As for Vick... I still have no idea what kind of punishment would be fair or justified in this situation. I think for once we should let him stand before the animal activists and let them decide his hell |

I was attacked by a Golden Retriever. I don't think there is anyone on the planet who would believe ill of those dogs. Dogs are animals. They lack reasoning ability. When confronted with confusing or threatening scenarios, they fall back on their instincts and attack. Tortured animals find EVERYTHING threatening. I think PETA ought to pay people to threaten and torture Vick. I nominate Ben Dover. |

>> I'm a firm believer that it's on the individual dog and how it was treated/raised, notsomuch the breed.<< I can only speak for my part of the world. Here imports were limited for a while, which led to morons inbreeding them - chasing the hard dogs. Restrictions lifted and now you never know. Here in NZ - it's the breed. |

Danger I have to correct you on something here your right that the breed was originally created for fighting but it was never accepted, even in the ring, for a dog to bite a handler if it was happening the dog was put down. So my correction is it's not a normal behavior for an American Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier to attack human. There is temperament problem in every breed and it's to the breeder to fix the problem by not breeding dogs with bad temperaments. I'm really sorry for your bad experience with the breed but don't make it a general thing with those dogs, it's been proven that they are not even good candidates for guard dog jobs since they are to affectionate with people and they can be stolen/leave with anyone easily. |

Again correction it's not the breed it the training or breeder, I understand your fear of the breed but they are not worst than any other breed and that anywhere in the world. I have a nice sticker on my truck that say punish the deed not the breed and it's say it all. |

OK - I will qualify. 'Where I live' the breed is flawed. Probably beyond redemption. It's mainly propagated by Moron wannabe gangsters with chains as thick as their dogs and who wouldn't know inbreeding if they counted it on six fingers. I fear nothing btw. Very handy with a pick axe handle. (Message edited by danger_dave on July 20, 2007) |

The only thing that bothers me is the celebrity factor making the determination between guilty and innocent...I believe that if OJ were anyone except OJ, he would be rotting in a jail right now. We pay TONS of money to these losers to play a game, and because they can afford the best legal protection, they get away with alot of BS that you or I would go to jail for if we were scumbags enough to do the crap these jerks do!!! |

Statistically, Dalmations are more dangerous and have attacked more than most domestical canines. You want to talk about a mean dog, an old friend of mine had this dog named Chico, and that dog would rip you to shreds if you looked at him wrong. I reached out to pet him one time (the dog, not the friend) and before my hand could get away, that Chihuahua had bitten me three times. That dog also used to chase a friend of mine around his house also. I remember the first time that Chico got close to me. We were playing Nintendo 64 and Chico laid in my lap. I think that was single handedly the scardest I have been around a dog. I was actually able to pet Chico for the first time then. |

Look, you hit a dog with a stick long enough it's going to do one of two things, cower in the corner or fight back. And if he fights back back does that make him bad? Tell me how long you would put up with abuse before you said F**K this , I'm gonna KILL YA!!!!!!!!! I'll bet it would'nt be long. You F**K with Kids,Old Folks or animals and you deserve to have your Chicken S**T A$$ BEAT TO A PULP!!!!! RANT OVER!!!!! |

The meanest dog I've ever known was my ex-girlfriend's Dachshund. They kept it locked in a room off of the garage. The walls, drapes, blinds, doors, and all furniture were completely destroyed from about three feet down to the floor. NO ONE went into the room but her father who fed it, watered it, and let it out to take a crap. That dog was evil, and if it every got within three feet of you, it would surely rip the flesh from your bones and piss on your dead skeleton. Some dogs have bad wiring. My rule is Black and Tan and understands German, gets a bullet in the brain. |

There are exceptions to every rule. My best dog ever was a german shepherd. It 'shepherded' my toddlers like they were it's own. It was very well trained and cared for too. My grandmother's minature Pomeranians had the same treatment and were psycho, devil's spawn from before they could open their eyes. |

Like not all the guys with the mokos (tats) are gangsters either. A lot of the gang bangers have them, but so do some of the traditional folk too. One said to me when I was helping out in the Harley shop - 'You know the best thing about it bro? I'll never have to work again. Who'd employ me?' |
