that actually looks A LOT better already. i agree with you about the "dorky" nose job, and the awkward radiator pods. it cleans up very nice with a lower/smaller nose and full fairings...now wrap that fairing into a belly pan to shroud the muffler, and i do believe you'd be in business... |

I'm looking forward to the touring model. Higher bars, cool looking bags, and a two up seat. rex |

Hmmm....I want to see the radiators bare and exposed in all their glory. |

Is it me or does the R6 look really uncomfortable (and busy!)? --Sean |

i started doing the same thing today, tweaking in PS. here's as far as i got... took a little different approach and used a half-fairing and belly pan. also cranked the tail up a tad, race front fender, lowered the nose and increased the height of the windscreen by a hair. still would like to remove the passenger brackets, finish the pan styling, etc. but its only playtime ;) i think an integrated front fairing and less 'roundness' to the shrouds would look badass. before after tweaking

I vote for the Typeone version... the main problem with the Radiator Pods is they look like add on's or like they finished the bike and then remembered they needed to mount radiators |

wow Typeone , GREAT JOB. Where can I get that one. I'm serious I want this new bike so bad, but cant figure the looks out. It makes so much sense the way you tied it together. |

Now that looks good enough for me to pluck a deposit down on. I'm sorry, but the bike looks awkward. The motorcycle rags are going to have a field day making fun of the looks. They'll say things like, "This is a huge step in the right direction for Buell, but the bike is ugly. Nice try though." Buell's problem is that the company cares too much about the rider. Instead of selling based on looks and performance, they want to sell based off of rider comfort. That is awesome, but pretty faces and performance numbers sell bikes. Ducs are uncomfortable as hell, but they sure are pretty and that's why people buy 'em. |

the bike has great angles and shapes but they feel disconnected to me, i just connected them e.g. fairing to shroud, shroud to tail, and when done, belly + fender to shroud. even tweaking the tail brings out the lines from the pipe to heel guards to the rear fender. could be sexy with some more tweaking. |

that's what i'm talking about, typeone! now connetct the fairing to the bellypan, and extend the fairing just a little to cover the headers, but leave the timing cover bare (like the 1098)...and hot damn! between your dash faces (and i love mine, so thank you by the way...) and this new body work, you should quit your dayjob and go into business designing Buell aftermarket parts....or just lobby for a job with Buell. keep up the kickin' work! |

I think the current air scoops dominate the look of the front of the bike. |

+1 for thypeone's second rendition. Looks like something that would hide down in the Batcave,... Say, isnt it time for another BatMan movie anyway?.... Buell the Black KnightStorm available at dealers soon and in the movie this fall ;) |

BMC, are you following this ? Technically the 1125 ticks all the boxes, but it looks fugly. The work you have done is something to be proud of, I hope it isn't too late to finish the job ! |

uggly areas. 1) radiator pods look like an after thought though I'm sure there like that for a functional reason 2)muffler looks terible though again it likely works very well 3)belt guards dont look right on this bike though again I'm sure they need to look like that to protect the belt but I would still buy one (that is if I dident already have to many bills) |
