Paul, I'm probably leaving from Oswego, IL on Friday morning to head up to the festivities. Depending on what time you leave I may join you. ~Eric |

04, I went to the buell website a second time to register because I wasn't sure it "took". When I got to the form it was still filled with all the info from last time. I have a feeling that since any payment is not due until you get there, they are just looking for a head count and we won't be getting any confirmation. Perhaps an "anony" will post and let us know if we will be getting an e-mail, letter in the mail, etc. |

I sent an e-mail to CS and only then did I get confitmation of the reservation. Coldwthrrider, we will probably be going thru Yorkville, so you don't have to go out of your way, at all. |

Thanks for all the replies we got answering our question about registering for Homecoming 07. But we went to the Buell website and could not find a link to Customer Service nor could we find an email address. Since we live in Central Illinois we want to be sure that we are counted in for the festivities once we get there since we are traveling a considerable distance. Can you post Customer Services email address here? THANKS. We look forward to seeing all of you in July. |

Here is the address I used. Don't remember where it came from. <buell_homecoming@buell.com> Got a response the next day. Like this. Paul - Package A is $35/per person (cash only). Payment will be taken on the day of the event (Friday, July 6 in East Troy). You'll then get your wristband, discount ticket information for the races at Road America, T-shirt etc. Event details including the schedule of events, hotel accommodations and directions can be found in the Owners section of buell.com: https://www.buell.com/en_us/owners/ownersmain.asp? pg=https%3A%2F%2Fwww%2 Ebuell%2Ecom%2Fen%5Fus%2Fowners%2Fwelcome%2Easp Kind regards, Buell Motorcycle Company - Owners Loyalty |

Coolice--We live in South Central Illinois in the Effingham area. We will be leaving here the 4th and taking our time and doing some site seeing coming up. Last year we sped up and back and really did not see much of the country between here and there. LastCyclone--Thanks for the email info. I already shot one out to them. I am counting down the days! Kid of like a kid at Christmas. |

Wolf - not this year. If we go to Cincinnati next year, maybe Carlos will escape for a few days. That was the plan this year, but timing isn't on our side. Carlos ended up taking summer classes and they don't end until July 27th. So we're staying close to home this year with the exception of our 12 year old. She's going to Puerto Rico with Grandma and a cousin for a week or so to meet and visit with family. She's going to have a great summer. |

Tim & 04, I didn't get any response after I signed up either, but when I sent them an email, they replied promptly that they had me signed up. I would agree that they are just trying to get numbers to help plan. Paul |

To all that are planning to come to Homecoming this year. The motel/hotels are starting to book fast on the account of three reason's. First its a Holiday weekend. Two.. people are coming in from other states because Racine is host to a national Triathalon that comes here every year. Three the Milwaukee area has a PGA Tour. So please if you are indeed planning to come you may want to book soon. |

I know I'm new here but a buddy and I are coming... I've got a room at a Best Western, but now realize that Lake Geneva is 15 min from East Troy but 2hrs from Elkhart Lake. Can someone please tell me if I'm in the wrong area, first time going.... Also, we'll be riding up Fri the 6th, via 80/90 up around Chicago and on up, leaving South Bend, Indiana around 3pm hopefully. |

Brinnutz-- We are quite a ways from the race track too but I planned it that way. Stayin that distance, we will get some riding in each day and thats what we go for ! Isn't that what having a bike is all about? We do the same thing when we do to Daytona in the spring. We stay in Altamont Springs, 50 miles south, so we can ride in to Daytona each day and enjoy some seat time. We are staying at the Ramada Limited in Waukesha, Wisconsin. We hope to put some faces with some names once we get there! Mrs 04buell |

Brinnutz, Glad to hear somebody else has made reservations at Victorian village! I'm riding with Fpresky, Trapper and Carpedium81 from Central New York State early Thursday morning and hitting the lake express ferry at 4PM. We're staying near Milwakee airport on Thursday night, just to be closer to festivities. The reason we're staying up at Vicvil Fri/Sat/Sun is because I jumped the gun on reservations. Last year we watched Erik and the Thunderbolts play at VicVil on Saturday night and I guessed that this year might be a repeat, was thinking about how sweet it would be to have a few beers and then just walk up to room. Now we know that Bads1 has Erik scheduled for Thursday night at his place in Racine. Oh well. Will see you there. VicVil seamed like a great place last year. BTW, My name is Wilson! |

It is an absolute hoot . . don't miss the pics I posted of trip I made to WI on it . . . when this thing passes the breakwater and they pour the coal to it . . HOLD ON! Super modern, very nice. |

I don't think that will work for me. It would only save me 100 miles or so and the the cost if I'm reading that right would be 62 bucks for me and 44.50 for the bike. I don't think I will spend 106.50 in gas for the whole weekend of riding. It does look like fun..... |

Yes hotels are filing up, the Comfort Inn in Racine is full. I just got a room at the Super 8 next door for Friday night. |

Carpedium81 arranged a reduced price deal with lake express, the contact can be found on the buell site at https://www.buell.com/en_us/owners/homecoming/dire ctions.asp It was Court's pics of the black smoke cloud and and comments about "pouring the coal to it" that sealed the deal for me. Ya baby!! We're doing it for the fun of it, more than the shortcut. |

It was Court's pics of the black smoke cloud and and comments about "pouring the coal to it" that sealed the deal for me. Several of my great adventures have begun by listening to Court. Remind me to tell you about the time I almost froze in the woods of Pennsylvania. |

I'll tell you . . it's awesome. Look at it this way. . . if you'd pay $7.00 to take a 2 minute ride at a park run by a mouse, the price for the 2-1/2 hour ride on a frickin' marine dragster across the lake is cheap. Take a look at that last of the three photos where you can see Milwuakee in the distance. . just how cool is that? |
