Ok Here we go. Homecoming is looking up. I've been working with Erik Buell for weeks now on his Band The Thunderbolts playing at my Bar. I'd like to announce he is July 5th at 10 PM till 1AM. You all I hope would like to see them play. So Thursday night after the Drag Strip You are all invited to THE BOILER ROOM in Racine,Wisconsin for a evening of Entertainment with Erik Buell and The Thunderbolts. |

From Racine the Drag Strip,Ukes HD and Buell and The Boiler Room are within 15 minutes apart from one another and the Hotels I listed above. Hal's in New Berlin and the Buell Factory are about 40-45 minutes away from Racine. The Race track for Saturday and Sunday is about a 1 hour 15 min ride. In the evening there is plenty of great places to eat as Steve Mackay has a great one planned for Friday with Court. Here is a map of the area.

Jerry, Hal's will go on a majority of the day I'd guess. From there to the drag strip starting 6pm about. Then a short jaunt of about 15 min to my bar to watch Erik and the band.....and relax if possible. Hope that help's. |

Jerry, I seen in the other thread a couple of you staying in Mukwonago. You will be close to the factory but a ways from Thursday's Dragging and seeing Erik play and then again Friday Bubba Blackwell at Uke's. There is plenty of room in the places that I have links to above at the heading of this thread. Trying to save the out of towner's to much riding if possible. It's a long haul just getting here right ?? |

Lets face it We are leaving around 5 or 6 am our time to get up there. I imagine we are gonna be pretty fried and ready for bed before the time Erik takes the stage. I have heard a bunch about Hal's and would like to see that. |

There are also some fine hotels, just down the street from Hals. We're working with the SHERATON MILWAUKEE BROOKFIELD HOTEL. Which is about a 1/2 mile down Moreland Rd from Hals, and almost right next to the i94 Brookfield exit. I've got 20 rooms reserved until June 13th. $95 a night for single, or double occupancy. Buffet Breakfasts for $12.95. Routes to and from the several activities will be provided if needed. BrewCity Thunderbikes will be leading rides from Hals to all the activities every day as well. We will try not to take the super-slab for any of 'em. SHERATON MILWAUKEE BROOKFIELD HOTEL 375 S. Moorland Road Brookfield, WI 53151 Phone: (262) 364-1100 For reservations, call: 800-325-3535 or 888-627-8235 Mention "Buell Riders" when booking.

BTW, for those of you traveling from the land of Far Far Away... I'd take a copy of the RAN list with ya, just in case. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/cgibin/discus/boar d-auth.cgi?file=/42/42.html&lm=1178845195 I guess you'd have to have watch Shrek to know what the land of Far Far Away is. Damn, I gotta stop watching TV with my 5 year old |

If people are interested, and as time grows closer, I will create downloadable routes, either PDFs, or Google Map routes, and a calendar with times of all the activities. |

Steve since you offered, any good "r/v" routes to RA? I mean the ones that don't bounce the shelves in the rig out. I will be at Great Lakes and go north from there. Of course the later at nite at least the construction zones shouldn't be too bad. Really the I route is the easiest, just all the construction, let me know. |

Coolice, yeah, 67 SUCKS ASS. I'd avoid it, especially with the construction crap going on now. Pulling the trailer, I'd take i43 to Hwy J, to Hwy 67 right outside of Elkhart Lake. Disclaimer: I'm very directionally challenged, but with the help of a GPS plumed in to my helmet, it actually LOOKS like I know where I'm going, so double check the route, and don't blindly trust me
