Hey all, Last October one of the screws holding the stock air box to the motor mount shook lose. Well that little dear made its way into the front cylinder and bent a valve. The dealership has completed the rebuild. Getting to the point, I asked them to replace the valve springs while they were at it, and they didn't. Should I press the point? I can get over it if it's not a problem mechanically speaking. If they reused the old springs then every thing should function fine, right? Is a bike having 20K miles likely to need new springs? Thanks, -Mike |

98k street miles on a '96 S1 -- same top end! You shouldn't worry, unless you are racing or otherwise revving it hard. |
