How many Drag Racers are there on this board? Would there be any interest in a BadWeb racing team....a group of like-minded individuals helping each other out?

How would this all work? Lucas, I picked up a 12R. Can't wait to see what kind of times I'll get with this one. Great Lakes Dragaway (WI) and Mid America (IA) I just started last year. |

Well, in my mind(a scary, scary, place), I was thinking that like-minded individuals would get together in each area. Plan a time...monthly, bi-monthly, etc... Find racers, shops and the like from the area to help(discounts, coaching, etc...) and agree to come together on decided upon dates and have a HOOT'N'NANNY! You can make it as involved or as loose as you (your group) wishes. There will be folks who have never raced before who will need the commraderie and help and understanding of those who are well versed in the sport. You can work with the local tracks to make a special event for your group(within the normal track days, of course). If they can see that you are bringing more folks into the "fold", they will work with you on making your 'play date' special. Of course you can include your families. Make it, for them, a picnic, barbeque, fun n games, kind of get to gether and they will actually start to look forward to the bike nights. The possibilities are endless... |

Wheelie bars, stretched or stock wheel base? I believe in cluth control, but its hard to beat someone that has any of the above. |

I'd like to have a stretched swingarm, but . . . I want to be able to use in on some track days also. So I'm gonna put a wheelie bar on it. Strap down the front end, like you showed me w/ a steering stabilizer on it. Also a race kit. And some weight taken of of the bike and myself (hopefully). Change the clutch spring to an '06. Pammy it sounds great. Is anyone planning on coming to the Homecoming? Just an idea, but maybe something could be put together to have a Buell shootout. Just a thought. |

I think a friendly drag race during homecoming would be a great 'must do'. It would have to be a non-Buell sponsored event, I am sure, but fun none the less. I you guys and gals would have some good ideas. |

I race at New England Dragway in Epping NH. They have "Streetnights" on Wednesday and Friday nights and I enter the occasional "Streetfighter" bracket race (they have them about once a month). Anybody who would like to meet there and race or see what it is all about can drop me a line. Scott |

There you go Scott, that's what I am talking about. Like minded folks all getting together, possibly bringing friends... And get the wimmen folks involved, you have the makin's of a good old hoot'n'nanny. I could picture CJ doing more than just 'watchin'. She seems like a doer to me |
