Nuts I can see that big "Ole 12point" digging his fox hole right now. And the squirrel's putting in armor plate in their nests( stray shots only) lol Jackie, You might want to check his family tree to make sure there are no "Cheneys" in that long line of stealth hunters. Yes I can see the woods in a haze of gun smoke now.LOL Be safe you guys..............Charlie |

Nuts, Tried calling but you had your phone off. I had an episode last night which was pretty bad. Just been sleeping all day and probably the same tomorow. I'll give you a call in the evening so you can tell me the tale of victory. |

Wes, There is a guy that lives at Smith Mtn.Lake(near Scruggs) that has a black X1. He doesn't look at this board as far as I know. His first name is Dennis, can't remember his last, but Seth at RVHD should be able to get in touch with him. And another guy in Christiansburg with a red one, Phillip Doyle, again check with Seth for contact info. That's all I can think of right now......Charlie |

Charlie, do you have any pics of your Cyclone? After reading a good deal about tubers I've got a hankering for a project. No $ right now just some dreams. I need inspiration and all I can recall of your bike are the dual discs and that barking exhaust! I think the molten orange frame/volcano grey bodywork looks best, maybe because I could get the wife to sign off on it. As long as it has orange, I'm good! RVF&L has been pretty quiet here lately. Seth's pouting, Jackie's done til Spring(late spring),Tank's gone to be a day trader, that leaves just me and you. You'd be the one with two Buells and no mountains. You do have that race season to look forward to. NUTS |

Pouting? I'm not pouting. It's just that there is nothing to talk about. Now that "winter" is here everyone is running in from the cold. Not much to talk about when you fly solo for the next four months. seth In regards to the pouting, I will have to say that a lot of the commentary on big, bad, and dirty has really digressed to an adolescent level lately. So, I have been avoiding the board as of late, but not pouting. cheers. Seth |

Hey Nuts, I wish I had a few good pictures of the Cyclone. Don't really have any of either bike. The bike you are describing(orange frame, grey glass)cyclone, does exist. The guy at Shooters Discount in Daleville(rt.220 across from LBHS) has or had one. Is this project going to be for you or your wife? Mike Hodges is his name(nice guy) and best I remember the bike was a low. Either way ya'll can talk bikes and guns, that ought to kill a day. Seth, Don't let the Bas***** get you down. Take away their daily ride and they are "Jackals" looking for fresh meat.It will be somebody else's turn tomorrow. Have you got that XR1200 to play with yet? Tell everybody I said "Du Hu".....Charlie |

Seth, I may not be riding but my bike sure is clean and pretty. I go downstairs and look at it each evening whilst indulging in a pinch of snuff. There will be plenty of riding this Spring especially since I have the Fitness Made Simple tapes on the way. In only 8 short weeks I can transform my body to look like John Basedow. If that happens I am selling my gear and buying a half helmet and cruising around in a tank top and thong underwear. Chicks will dig me man!! Charlie, Me and Ole' Nuts went hunting today. I bagged one in a record time of 10 minutes total. Walked from the car, to my spot, didn't even sit down and BOOM!! My good buddy Nuts drug it up the hill for me. You just can't beat that man. I shoot em' and he drags em' around for me . Gotta find you a hunting partner like that so you can get back in the woods my friend. Actually I think he is holding out for the biggest buck in the woods. He has the strange ability to pull trophy animals out of his arse like that LOL.. |

Any of ya'll cats thinkin' about attending the "roundup" around the time of the March Badness?? Sounds like some may be near the dragon the week before, head down to GA for Badness on the weekend, and back to the dragon the week after......wouldn't that be a wicked trip. I may have to take two weeks off, but I have no plans as of yet. Tank |

Nuts If you want that trophy buck, just go to the other end of the ridge and tack a picture of Jackie in his thong on a tree. Run back to your stand and wait for the stampede. That big one will be the one snorting the loudest.LOL (while rubbing his eyes)............Charlie |

NUTS is going on an all-out new recruit campaign. We've got to get some new Bueller's into the Fast&Loose mix. I'll be forwarding our info to several of Seth's (via Seth) customers in hopes of gathering a few of us rumble riders together when Spring comes. I hear tell a new fellow owns a Millenium X1 with over 50k miles. He is also a firearms enthusiast, which'll fit quite nicely in our little camp. Happiness is a warm thing that goes bang! Or a wheelie over the railroad tracks. Circle the wagons folks Mr. Spring is closer than we think. I am obviously attempting to compensate for my horrendous deer season. Oh's well. NUTS |

...Happiness is a warm thing that goes bang! EASY, my friend. You should save that for your wife! I have not hunted in many years, but I recall freezing my ass off until after the "bang". Maybe you western Virginians do it differen't, or maybe we are missing out??? Tank |

Charlie, You gotta talk Jason into telling you his latest tale of deer hunting woe. He may not be able to bag a deer but he sure can tell an awesome story. I was on the edge of my seat having heart palpitations. So vivid it was almost like being along for the hunt! We are going tomorrow morning and with the cold weather upon us I fully expect to post a pic of Nuts standing over his prize tomorrow evening. |

Seth, here ya go. http://www.pollyheaters.com/ph400.htm I would suggest this model. I have the "snowmobile hi-lo" and they are just blazingly hot. Froze my tail off Sunday morning with the TVR guys. One guy had a nice Ducati ST3 w/25k miles. I was duly impressed. We need to see if you can apply for a Sunday morning off and drag Mr. Gardner along with you. Duc in tow of course! NUTS |

You can also try www.KLR650.com They do the business. I got my tires changed Monday and forgot what a bear it is getting the front rim back in with the caliper in place. NUTS needs to get some riding in. I might wait til this 30mph wind with sub freezing temps abates. |

Jason, What tires did you go with? I put the '07 airbox in a few days ago. So far I like the results, the low end and mid range appear to have a wee more response. But with a 20 degree commute this morning I couldn't play to hard, I already slid the front and rear through one corner on cold pavement and I felt like I was taking it easy. Seth |

Wrecked my UlY today! After gearing up for a ride up Bent Mtn I mounted the bike and pulled out onto my street. Down the hill to the stop sign, a brief pause and a left turn. Power on and down we go. New, cold tires on a cold road. Broken mirror, bent shift linkage, scratched frame puck and scratched axle sliders. I wonder if the shifter Charlie uses would be out of the way more than the stock Uly one? My jacket is a little rashed up and my big bad red boots have some visible damage to the plastic. I was wearing my padded riding pants and they have a little rash on the hip/knee. Hello Aerostich; Yes, I'd like "The works." NUTS |
