Etennuly!
It was great to meet you. Thanks for coming out and riding with us. I hope we'll be able to run roads out your way this spring! |

The end of 116! Arm pump and all. That road was HAIRY. I don't think that it has ever been that jacked up. Late fall wet snot, road leaves, gravel, sticks, mud. It's a very technical road on a good day. It's a down right treacherous road like we found it. I'm glad that everyone made it home ok. |

For sure!! Arm cramp kinda lends to riding one handed. Who was it, up front there, that was laying down the wet snot. A tissue would have been in order! How did your bar cam work out? |

The camera was fine. I need to work a little harder to isolate vibrations. I'll probably use a neoprene mouse pad to help to isolate the vibrations a bit more. The problem was the camera angle. I needed a little more sky in the shot. When we ran up hill (and had fork compression during braking) I got mostly road dirt, pebbles, leaves, etc in the shot. |

Good meeting you Etennuly! We had one heck of a ride. Hwy 116 is always tricky, but it was jacked up big time on Friday. I thought I was going to piss myself when I rounded that corner to see a big ass dump truck sideways across the road dumping mud on it! YIKES!!! Thanks to my worn out front tire, I had a nice front end slide on on of those wet corners. I'm glad we didn't ride that mess again. I love those tight hairpins though. The Uly is a great bike for that type of stuff. Big torque and great handling. |

Etennuly, How far are you from the I-40/I-81 split? You have some good roads in your neighborhood too G2 |

Big About 25 miles NW. You bet! We'll have to hook up sometime, meet in the middle ground, on top, or somewhere! It's getting pretty cold to go over Newfound Gap though. I worry about ice showing up in one of those wet corners! |
