I have an '07 Uly and I noticed a 2 pole connector terminating just above the oil level dipstick, this lead connects to the battery with a 75 amp fuse on the positive side.Would I be right in assuming that this was for connecting a trickle charger?
I have not been able to find any reference in the owners manual or the service manual.
Thanks

That should be a 7.5 A fuse.

You can use it for trickle charge or even for an electric vest...

its typically something that your dealer puts on your bike during set-up. Then he can sell you a trickle-charger to maintain the battery.

I've got one that the dealer said they put on every bike they sell. But mine exits the right side just above the compression adjuster for the rear shock. Pretty handy.

I have one too. I believe it's a dealer installed perk. My dealer also gave me a battery tender as a freebee when I purchased the bike. As previously posted, works for electric clothes, too.

Mine is long and black. It matches my bike.
