I have always felt that the Uly style was terrific except for the mirrors. Kindava a Darth Vader wearing Micky Mouse ears thing. After seeing Warbaby's ride I ordered Tuono mirrors from www.af1racing.com. I was pleasantly surprised that they arrived super-fast via priority mail. They are indeed lower and wider and the quality, fit, and finish are great. Now *that's* the way the Uly was meant to look. |

Fubar, Thanks for the link. For everyone else the mirrors Warbaby has are listed under "06-07 Tuono racing :Bodywork/chassis." At $50 per side I'd say these are a fair deal. NUTS |

Do the mirrors work any better than stock? Are they less prone to vibration? $50 per side seems to be pretty expensive to me. You guys must make a lot more money than I do. Maybe if I sell one of the kids I could afford more goodies. Hmmmmmmmm.............. |

I'm thinking about seeing if I can tighten the mirrors to prevent movement. Next step is to fill the mirror with lead shot. The problem is one of light mass on the end of a long stick. I'm hoping that additional mass will prevent the shaking. |

My mirrors work fine, they're very tight? Best mod for me is the CeeBaileys 16+, I can now ride all day without my neck aching, fun value is definitely the race kit, convenience, the hard bags, the Syncs have been good as well! I just really like the bike! |

I bought a pair of awesome Motrax bar end mirrors that are like the very expensive CRG mirrors, but only $59.95 a pair - at Cycle Gear (go to cyclegear.com). http://www.cyclegear.com/spgm.cfm?L1=2&L2=&L3=&L4=&item=MRX_MBM1_G Here's a pic. Very little vibration, still work with the hand guards, look great - better than any stalk mirrors.

motogeek did you have to modify the bar end plugs? got a front shot ? i replaced my mickey mouse with some rectangular ones. they vibrate less than stock did but still mostly see my own shoulders. the bar end mirrors look like a much better/safer alternative |

What's the wrap around the lower stalk for? |

It's just a rubber cover for the mounting hardware. |

Fubar or Warbaby: How are the vibes/blur with the Tuono mirrors at top gear @ 65-80 mph? If they are better than the stockers, I think will be upgrading. Thanks, paochow |

I have not noticed vibration interfering with rear vision with the Tuono mirrors. |

Cool-thank you. With a hooligan bike like this, I need a clear rearview. (Message edited by paochow on October 09, 2006) |

Midnightrider - No neeed to modify the black plastic bar end plugs - as you don't use them! These mount inside the handlebar ends. Here's some more pics. Email me for full-sized ones - I have to shrink these down to 320x240 to be under 71K or whatever the silly limit is here. Cheers, - Scott
