Cycle World had some good things to say about the Ulysses in their "Hot-Rods & Hooligans" article (October 2006). Nice little sidebar article too. It's nice to see some good press. Even with our minor gripes about fans, scoops, kickstands, etc...this is one awesome bike! |

I will put up with the fan because I love the hell out of my Uly. I could care less if someone says something about the fan. Find me another bike that weighs less than 500 pounds and will tour 2 up like the Uly. It makes me very happy. |

This weekend I had my buddy's 16 Y/O son for a passenger. (he's a experenced rider and weighs about 120lbs) We were railing on smooth straight hilly gravel roads through wheat feilds in E Wash. at 60-80 mph. The Uly handled it ease. Felt like a gravel roller coaster built for two. We both had a ball. It was his first spirited ride on a modern street bike. He was lovin' hitting some rough twisties.(I wasn't even hitting them that hard!!) He absolutley loves my bike and the way it sounds. (I kinda like it too) The Uly handles awesome...even 2 up. Yesterday my 16Y/O daughter and I went to go look at a car for her. We pulled out of a KFC where there were a bunch of kids hanging around their tuner cars. I did a *small* power wheelie shifting to second and got a big reaction from them....you should of heard her giggling on the back. Great stuff, great bike. Me and my bro are planning a 3500 mile tour through Death Valley and Grand Canyon next month. Man, I can't think of anything this bike can't do. (Message edited by debueller on September 05, 2006) |

Two weekends ago i went or a 300+ km ride with GS12, transalp, f650, cagiva elephant, klr650, ktm super motard 625. My 12x did it all. Probably 120 k's gravel/dirt track, 200 k's bitumen. Power slides up on the pegs in 3rd , small jumps, muddy holes, creek crossings, from sea level to 1000m above. I just can get enough. I have only 2000 km on the odo & have to keep tellin myself im a novice, slow down! Is there such a thing as too much fun? Whenever i call into my dealers, the staff there say check out the grin on that guy! |
