Well this morning I was going to do a little North Georgia mountain trip to check out a new trout fishing spot. The old S2 wouldn't start, so I pulled out one plug and it was black with carbon. I pulled the other out and it as bad as the first one. Any ideas about what could cause the plugs to be so fouled. The carb is in good shape, has a stage 1 kit in it and Im using a SuperTrap exhaust,,The bike runs strong with no signs of anything wrong (except the plugs). I very seldom use the enricher,so I know it's not that.. What are the possible gremlins causing this?? (float, air and needle jet adjustment, etc.) Is this something that I can adjust or is this a HD dealer issue???? thanks ron.. |

Cyber, just change em out--be sure to get the 10R's not the old 6R's--and see what happens.Check to make sure your enrichner was not sticking on a bit and that your sparkplug wires going into coil are not corroded. Air filter clean?? |
