I want to rent a XB12X I cant seem to find anyone that will do that. Do yall know of any where that will rent Buells. Does not matter where. I would fly out to rent it. Me and the wife want a touring bike, but I dont want to get one until she has had a good ride in it. I have bought bikes(BMW R1200RT/02 M2 cyclone) before so she could ride. She liked it for a 20 minute demo, but after we bought the bikes she had no love for long trips. She thinks she would like a XB12X or a UltraClassic. She also suggested an Old Wing. I dont want a honda. Please Advise. |

Matt, At one time, Tilley HD/Buell in Statesville, NC had at least a couple of rental Buells (including an XB9S). Not sure if they have current Buell models for rent or not. They're a board sponsor; check the Sponsors thread for contact info. I believe XB12X rider/BadWebber ChadHargis is is also in Nashville; he might be a good one to talk to. |

Matt, I'm in sort of the same boat. I want a second bike that I can travel on with my wife and have her actaully want to go on the trip and be happy. I'm thinking my two choices are an Ultra Classic or a K1200LT. I'm hoping the new K motor will show up in the LT soon. |

I believe Reno HD/Buell in Reno, Nevada has an XB12X in their rental fleet. You can call them at (775) 329-2913. |

The harley dealer in Canton, OH has a Uly in the rental fleet, I believe it is liberty hd or freedom hd. There is a demo bike at Harley of Youngstown with bags on it. I bet you could rent that one, or get a decent ride on it. Nice folks at Ytown, and they dont mind buells at all, in fact they have a buell mechanic on staff. |
