Could you send those two pics in original size to me? Nice Wallpaper :+)

Griz: nice bike, congratulations! But you actually get Alice to ride on the back with you? I wouldn't!

You'll have some mail directly, hope you've got bandwidth.

Bloody Hooligan

I dunno, give a guy a bike and look what they do the minute yer back's turned !

Still, you should ask him about his seat of the pants dyno appraisal.

Come on Aaron, spill them bloody beans.

BIG,BIG THANKS CHARLEY for advice, Sorry to see the damaged piston hope you get things sorted out soon.MASSIVE BIG THANKS to everyone else who helped me out, cheered me up, polished my bike (shiny wheels @ Owen )(oil pitstop @ Mitch) (gear selector @ Steve )(tears of laughter @ Steof - one word seems to spring to mind PS !)Of course BIG THANKS to ROCKET for informing me of the Gruelling, Buelling Bike Bash (or was that crash !!!!! ) Sorry I really didnt mean to run you over or give your bike more Brake at the back wheel !! Glad to hear your wheels sorted. STEVE BIG THANKS for everything, SYBREN - Yes I do have some video footage but my videocam skills not brilliant, need to find out how to download pics (watch this space)also like to say HELLO and BIG THANKS to Nobber + Paula , Gary + Kim , Toecutter, Michael, Kenny and Danny and everyone else I met up with along route. What an experience - Eric - Donnington next year ??? Hopefully my Buell fixed soon !!??? If I promise no holding back on the throttle, oil spills , battery/circuit breaker problems, lost No plates, bent gear shifters wrong ferries, bad navigation etc,etc Do ya think we can meet up again next year ????????????? At least I didn't fall asleep at the controls!

No, seriously, he has a damn good running bike. I would love to get some time on the dyno with it. It's well put together and runs strong but like most every bike it could benefit from some careful tweaking. I bet I could get a pretty big number out of it.

He needs US gearing, though. It's the cheapest, simplest, easiest, and most effective way to increase rear wheel torque.

Grizzlyb - really really nice looking BeeEmmm - only thing is - the front wiring loom round the headlamp looks a wee bit messy - all that red and yellow wiring needs a few cable ties there my man....... :-)

An inadvertant stoppie I'm sure. I think the Dymags are much lighter than AW was used to.

Aaron:

Be I the "Buell Diplomat"...well, not even Henry Kissenger would have suspected you'd be well...you know....er.....and whooping up on the Brits bikes to boot!

Based on what I see, these guys have pretty well honed skills.

Welcome back !

Court - By the way...what think of the patch sale surge?

Tripper: Yeah, that was it! And his rotor was warped, made the brake grab! I'm innocent!

Court: I was astonished at the riding skills these guys posess.

Griz is absolutely amazing on the track. I guess he gets track time and training as part of his job. Oh, and don't ever pick a fight with him!

Not only is Peter good on the track, he's a wheelie expert. Pretty much as long as he has room. And he's a hell of a wrench.

As you can see, Hein ain't no slouch either. He got everything out of that X1 and then some.

But really, all the guys impressed me. These guys know how to ride motorcycles. Really humbled me, I could learn a lot hanging out with them.

Patch orders? I dunno, I make Susy do that. I know she had a bunch of mail and I saw some stuff going into packages.

See ya,
AW

I think you might be selling yourself just a little tiny weenie bit short there Aaron, considering you wheelie and stoppie strange bikes at the drop of a hat...

Watch your mouth you Aussie git. There's nuthin strange about my bike !

Aaron : I gave up watching Grizz's style after last year when he insisted on grinding his pipe, if you'll pardon the expression. I'd agree with everything you said about those guys but for me that Aussie git is fast, and in the corners too. I especially liked his very late braking manouver in to the hairpin at the end of the straight. Still, when you know you can take your bike home in a van, and you can afford to repair it when you've chucked it down the road, it's easy to go that bit harder. Me, I had to get home on mine and carbon ain't cheap. That's why you only saw me in the kitty litter once. That's my excuse anyway.

I'd love to have some nice words for Hein too, but his refusal to party in the Irish bar on our last night in Bethune confirms his status as lightweight. This is why he is fast on the track, the skinny bleeder. Still, his face at the hotel window at 2.30 am was worth the whole trip.

What a great bunch of guys they all are. I'm missing them already, even if they didn't bring me the gifts they'd promised, you know, John Daniels and Dutch weed :) Anyway, I prefer Ta Killer these days.

By the way Aaron, I was looking for some key words in your speach........STRONG, FAST, POWERFUL, WORLD, BEST, you know the one. Now tell it like it is, like you told me !

I'm still thinking about the box !

Hi Aaron, US gearing... technically a cheap and easy way to get more torque but doesn't this mean the speedo needs to be replaced as well?

Hi Sandy and all ya other videocammers, next year I'll bring my own video gear and a helmcam and make a video that will outsell the teamelves patches!

Sybren, Mate the speedo does not need to be replaced , all you have to do is fit a small frequency divider like I have done to my X1.Ross

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the pics mate, they are absolutely great. They'll hang on my wall of fame (in the garage) Ill send Pete some.
From what I saw, you could teach me a trick or 2 on the two wheels. And as for riding 2 up with you, after those wheelstands??? only when they make airbags for passengers. :+)
I hope we can ride together on a track (sand or asphalt)in the future.

ciao friend

Sandy,
Glad to hear that you made it home OK. I hope Rocketfella didn't give you too many problems.

Rocketfella,
Thanks for the kind words. I was going to give the correct interpretation of this picture as being "Grizzly about to overtake PPiA who is about to overtake Hein who have all overtaken Rocket because he didn't overtake anyone....."
.....but I won't now.
Ciao ••••.

Sybren,
The other way is to talk to your dealer. Buell Benelux have a kit available with the US gearing and a Canadian speedo for a cheaper price than the items sold individually.
Or I'll sell you my speedo because I want to make a new dash with one from a bicycle.
