Here are the first three Drummers to arrive at my house for the shootout. Pictured are both SS models and a brand-new carbon fiber can. The two standard models (with the new-style end caps) should arrive tomorrow. Being able to compare the SS models with the Carbon muff is a real eye opener; the carbon can is almost weightless. If you filled it with helium, it might float! Kevin hit the nail on the head with this one. Don't get me wrong, the SS models are also awesome, but the look of quality carbon fiber racing parts is uniquely beautiful. You almost have to see it yourself to believe it! Thanks for looking! WT

Can't wait until I can buy a CFD Kevin... DRUMMER!!!! I FINALLY got around to re-swapping the Drummer back on from the Force pipe... I threw the force header in the trash. I did keep the muffler but I really don't know why. I hate the damn thing. The Drummer is better in EVERY way except volume. It's not that the Drummer is quiet... it's just that the Force is VERY LOUD! I do like VERY LOUD but after running the spars once yesterday I kick myself for ever putting that Force pipe back on. Anyway... Lemme know as SOON as I can buy a CFD. Thanks for the pic Whiskey . |

Very cool! What are the two different SS versions? 9 and 12? I've got one of the very early 9 versions (before the "fatlet") on my XB12, looking to upgrade to one of the newer drummers when I get my finances in line. |

M1Comabt please let me know what you are going to do with the Force muffler and please god tell me the header isn't in the trash. I would take those off of you in a heartbeat if they are in good condition |

Now there is only the titanium drummer missing, and the series will be completed |

but the look of quality carbon fiber racing parts is uniquely beautiful. You almost have to see it yourself to believe it! oh, my.. . me wants! i had that type of experience when my Drummer arrived, pics on the web make the pipes look so small. i had to stare at the Fatlet for a while before installing. hell, i still stare at the Fatlet. that CFD must be gorgeous in person. Hells yeah, Kevin! BadWeb rules, I can't wait to see the results from the testing. I hope someone will be filming/snapping/recording for us lurking from afar? |

The Titanium Drummer is in the works. The main issue is that the material price will make your heart stop. |

"What are the two different SS versions? 9 and 12?" My question also. Why doesn't the right-side SS have the front mount? Mark Oregon |

The two different SS models are for the 9 and 12 and I'm not sure why the one on the right dosen't have a mount. The mounts are removeable, so we can swap it around for the shootout if Kevin dosen't bring an extra. WT |

Indy... The header went directly in the trash and the "muffler" will probably follow. I have NO regrets even though I paid nearly $400 for the system. I wouldn't want to burden anyone with it's existence. I would have cut it in half if I had a saws-all. I do want to test the "muffler" on the stock header though... If it works I'll steal it's dimensions and make a good one myself. I have a feeling it won't work as well as a Drummer. BTW... The terms Force exhaust and good condition makes for a very amusing and humorous statement . Don't trouble yourself. Really. The pipe is made of a metal that has NO business what so ever on a single crank journal V2. |

Thanks for reponse, WT. Was concerned about the mount... got an XB12 SS on order, and the mount's part of the Drummer craftsmanship that made me take the plunge! |

Sweatmark, I know what you mean-it's all about the details! The mount makes the installation super clean and rock-solid. You won't regret it! I still grin like an idiot everytime I start mine up! WT |

Yeah, Whiskey, it's the Old World craftsmanship that makes Kevin's creation a "gotta have". I like that front mount just as much as the CNC rear piece! Placed my order soon after I saw the first SS photos (with confidence in Drummer by reputation). Kevin, good luck in the shootout. You've got MANY Badwebbers rootin' for ya' and hoping you come out on top. |

Kevin, I'm not a Drummer customer yet, but the carbon pipe looks very good to me. Has there been much field testing on it? I was wondering how it would hold up with the impacts an under-slung pipe can be subjected to. Thanks for your dedication and professionalism. |

>>>>Has there been much field testing on it? I was wondering how it would hold up with the impacts an under-slung pipe can be subjected to. Ive beatup my muffler on the curbs on my driveway a bunch of times, its all dented and ratty but still works fine. I doubt i could say the same if it was carbon. What about jacking points? |

Don't be jealous, just get one! So far my Drummer SS has been the best money I've spent on my Buell without a doubt! They are really that good, plus there is a model to suit any budget (except stone-cold broke!) WT |

That SS on the right is mine. The mount is still on my bike. Just bought it and its still sitting at Kevin's shop. He didn't have time to build another SS. Hope he doesn't sell it to someone while he is up there!! |
