I want to remove the "Warning" stickers from my frame, but I'm leery to use a blade in fear of scratching it. Has anyone used a "Goo-Gone" type product to do this? If so, was there any hazing/discoloration of the paint on the frame? Thanks for any input. |

Hair dryer to warm and soften the sticker. Then a fingertip. Use Wd-40 to remove any glue that's left. |

Mine just peeled right off. It was over 90F and that probably helped. Also I think the sooner you get them off the easier it is and less of a chance of discoloration. |

use a hair dryer and heat it up enough to peal them off. DO NOT put goo gone on to remove the residue. Use wd-40 |

Yup they virtually drop off when warmed and Mr.Sheen/Pledge takes care of any residue. The reflectors on the front forks can also be removed in the same way although the rear reflectors + brackets involve a little more work. Looks much better afterwards ![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/biggrin.gif) |

Excellent. Sounds like my girlfriends hairdryer will finally provide a useful purpose in life other than making us perpetually late! Thanks for the info. |

Silverado.. that was a good one. I used some gasket remover from permatex to remove the firebolt sticker off the faring and the reflector goo. It was very cold when I did it and it came off very easy with no problems. |

Once again, the BadWeb come through. Hairdryer to warm, peel, and some bug/tar remover to clean up any left over adhesives. The stickers are gone! Thanks everyone for your help. |

Are the side reflectors glued too? Do I just heat them and pull on them? Thanks |

I just removed the logos from the airbox to dye the plastic. Anybody know the price for replacement parts. And how to glue them back? Thanks |

At the factory they have jigs and they clamp them in place for a specified length of time to keep them in place and keep air bubbles out. This is not really practical at home, so you have to do it pretty much like any decal. |

I originally posted this question over in the Knowledge Vault, (more appropriate I thought!), but seeing that I didn't get a response, I thought I'd try here, as this is where it seems most members are lurking. So it's easy to remove the letters off the airbox cover; but then how do you get the sticky crap off the back of each letter? And what is the best 'sticky crap' to use to refit the decals again? I've used automotive trim double-sided tape before, would probably do for this. I'd like to paint a spare cover for my bike colour change, and hope to reuse the existing decals. The alternative is to mask off the letters, but this is not perfect. |

It's funny how different we all are. I was just thinking about removing my airbox logos to stick them on my office fridge. I don't like having them on my bike. ![](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/biggrin.gif) |
