And also the part where Angelina Jolie comes in with tight leathers on and then shoots up the Buell development shop with a silenced UZI in each hand. I think this helmet has the scene from that movie. Um, minus the uzis and leather.

The bike sounds like a 9 wound tight to me. Please say you're kidding? It sounds like (as bad as) the overdub they did on Blade: Trinity. *Thumbs down* |

"Good grief! The sound is absolutely a 9R at high revs with stock muffler. The 9 was used for sound because it has a sweeter sound than the 12." I like you anony, but I Got to totaly DISAGREE!!! mY 2 cents worth. Anyone seen the new suzuki commercial? You know how one of Buells motos is "own the curves" Suzuki has on theyre commercile "own the race track." Grief man!! Can they come up with something original? They already copied buells exhaust idea. Now pretty close to one of our slogans. |

Saw the ad on Speed today...doesn't sound anything like my nine at any rpm...seems to me whoever would have had to put their stamp of approval on this at Buell should have caught that immediately...whether it actually was a Buell sound clip or not it doesn't SOUND like one. |

<<The show was actually about motorcycles. . .the end of it had some cool stuff about the Britten and Buell. The same folks just did a documentary on Frank Gehry. Vickie and I went to the first showing. I look down the row from us and who do I see but Stephen Spielberg. I thought it'd be funny to pitch the Buell story to him . . can you see Erik Buell having to wear an ET costume? >> Was that our friend Ultan G.? |

>>>>Was that our friend Ultan G.? Indeed. What a great guy...about as down to earth a fellow as you'll ever know. Wandering into his place you never know WHO you're gonna run into. He's got the likes of David Crosby, Laurence Fishbourne, Jermey Irons and a host of others all wrapped up in riding. Ultan and Lyle Lovett are frequent Baja partners and last year someone, on a booze induced bet, provided Ultan with a big surprise...a GasGas and an entry in the Spanish Trials. He rides well but fared rather poorly. If you want to hear a great story sometime, ask me about the way he got that closing shot in Carrier Battle Group...yes, it was a GOVERNMENT helo and yes it was VERY close to the GOVERNMENT aircraft carrier and yes, it was on a bet that it couldn't be done. Remind me to tell you sometime.... He and his buddy held the civilian time to climb records in an F-15 and a MIG at one time...that, as well, was quite unauthorized. We both lament that the stellar Buell display at the Guggenheim had it's legs kicked out from under it (understandably) by sponsor BMW. He's off on another project now..... |
