02s3t and others - the Buell tent is at the Speedway. If you ride in mid-track off of Speedway blvd., they are on the right, past Honda & Kaw and right next to BMW. Bomber - very true, Bike Week in Daytona beats any day at work I've ever had! Opening weekend rocked. For Court and others - I really don't want to dirty this thread with rants, my statements were meant only as my personal experience over the years, not statement of fact. In fact, if I didn't believe Buell has made huge leaps in all aspects of the business I wouldn't be interested in that new Ulysses, would I? It's just some of us original 90's owners remember the dark times and have managed to find the few lousy dealers out there. Any new bad experience just digs those memories up... Buell on! |

>>>>For Court and others - I really don't want to dirty this thread with rants It was not a rant, it was your candid observation. Buell is a very fortunate company to HAVE owners who will make such comments AND to have a mindset that listens and learns. Think of it as being "Buells Eyes". When you are riding down the road upon your motorbike, you are constantly making minor adjustments to steering input based on changes and what you see. Buell, as a company is no different. Thanks for the input and I'll get it where it goes. Court |

My son & I will be there, expect to leave home at 7am, hope the traffic up I4 isn't too bad at that time??? Never been to a bike event before at Daytona. To do demo rides, I assume I need to bring my own riding gear, right? Are the demo rides on the oval or through the twisties or both? I think it would be cool just to be able to ride at DIS, regardless of speed, maybe even a photo opp |

oops, looks like Nick and Sammie's address had an extra digit in your Spreadsheet Jersey. Remove the 2nd "1", should be 1009 Alladin, not "10019." Fixed that in above files. Invasion Blake ETA in approximately T-9 hours and counting (6:00-6:30 p.m.). |

I'm still not sure of what ticket to get. I went online, started to get the infield grandstand for $40 until I saw the $12 fee for online purchase. And it looked like a reserved seat thingy. Anybody help me out? Or are we just getting tickets Saturday morning?? Thanks |

I'm going to do what I have always done. . walk up to the window, buy a ticket, walk in. Unless something has changed, this ain't NASCAR and there is no, per se, "reserved seating". Daytona, if they have record attendance (thanks to Buell) will look more empty than full. On the other hand, if 150,000 folks show to see Buell's return. . who am I to tell them no. Be sure to have your AMA membership with you or be prepared to buy another. |

Leaving NC with wife, kids, and bike on the trailer at about 4 am tomorrow. I'll be stopping by Nick and Sammies, then on to Ocala. I'll be riding back over to Nick's and then to Daytona for the autograph session (Charlieboy, I have your shirt and the instructions ) After Daytona on Friday I have to head back to Nick and Sammies then go set up camp at KOA and prep for the rest of C3 to arrive. Court, will you be around Friday night, or not until Sat morning? |
