My bike is stored so I can't look at it right away. I was wondering about the tail light. Are the same LEDs used for tail light and brake light or are there separate lights for the tail light and brake light? I have a real nice 12" long set of LEDs that would fit very nice in the red lens on the back of the trunk. Just wondering if I can use it like it were a brake and running light or not. |

They are the same lights. They have two brightness levels. |

Hey Thats great news. I can use this set for both and mount them in the trunk high up. |

That being said, they may be dual LEDs. Meaning they have two elements in them. I'm not sure about that. |

TB show pics and what led's you use, I'm very interested in some more red lights on the trunk. |

I will when I get the project completed. What they are is the LED high mount brake light from a 1999 Chev Tahoe Police Package. I am sure all the Tahoes were the same for that year anyway. We had one that ducked or tried to duck under a garage door and it broke the high mount and I removed the guts. Probably get one at the wreckers and they are very bright. |

Yes it's not looking too good for the LED lights. Thee is not enough room in the reflector lens on the back of the bag. I am going to try another mounting place and if none are there I will look for a slightly smaller light assy. |

The Uly tail light is already scorchingly bright. Adding more lights will blind astronauts orbiting Earth. |
