I was wondering if anyone knows a supplier for bar risers for the Uly? If it wasn't for the angle on the riser we could use the 1" universal spacers by Motech or something like that. If there isn't someone already making them, would you be interested in them if I had a friend with a machine shop make them? I was thinking .75" to 1" rise. This should still allow us to use the stock bars without changing the cables. What do you guys think? |

Is that so you can use another style of bars? I am not understanding what the spacers would be used for. |

IMHO the stock bars are too low for extended off-road riding while standing. I hope to test that soon. But I think a 1" rise would provide more comfort while standing on the pegs. Jim in Santa Barbara |

The spacers would raise the bars to a more comfortable position. Like Jim pointed out, they are a little low if you are standing on the pegs. When seated if the bars where 1" taller you would be seated a little more upright. |

I've been thinking about adding risers to the Uly's bars myself...both to take a little weight off my wrists when riding and to address the weird position I'm in when standing on the pegs. |

I see. I'll have to do more off-road testing. I haven't noticed this problem yet, but that could be my body-type (completely average build at 5'10", 200 lbs.). |

Interesting modification idea. I would be interested in trying it, if it could be done without replacing cables and such. Keep us posted. |
