I just found a screw in my back tyre, when I unscrewed it to nearly out air started to leak from around it, I've ordered a workshop manual but it hasn't arrived, the owner's manual gives nothing! I've repaired tyres on other bikes but this is my first Buell (non-chain drive with tensioner) is there an online manual anywhere or does anyone have a step by step on getting the tyre/wheel off and on please? |

Rear Wheel Removal (abbreviated) 1. Jack bike up 2. Remove caliper carrier from swingarm 3. Loosen rear axle pinch fastener 4. Loosen rear axle approx. 15 turns to allow partial tension to be removed from final drive 5. Remove idler pulley 6. Remove rear axle 7. Carefully (proper handling) slide drive belt out of the way and remove rear wheel |

Rear wheel install (abbreviated) 1. Center the wheel in swingarm and slide belt onto drive 2. With wheel centered in swingarm, lower bike to align swingarm and wheel hub 3. Apply anti-sieze lube to hole in right side swingarm where axle slides through 4. Coat the axle with anti-sieze lube 5. Slide axle through and partially thread in swingarm 6. Install idler pulley 7. Tighten rear axle 23-27 ft-lbs, back off 2 turns and then retighten to 48-52 ft-lbs 8. Tighten pinch fastener to 40-45 ft-lbs 9. Install caliper carrier and tighten fastener to 24-26 ft-lb Hope this helps Good luck |

Thanks, I was worried the tensioner was spring loaded! |
