I can tell right now that my attempt to reply to something in the archives is going to be buried so I'll re-ask the question. I saw that someone posted about converting their Uly front fender to the XB12s front fender. Does anyone have pics of this they can post? I'm thinking about doing that conversion myself (with the CF front fender) but would like to see it before I spend the coin. FWIW, I've found that riding in the rain/mud the Uly high mount front fender seems to be worse than a normal fender as all the spash just flies past the fender and on to the headlights and wind screen. I rode home on some dirt roads in the rain a couple nights ago and after only a couple miles in the dirt the headlights were covered. | ||

Thanks, I don't know if it's protocol to reply to the thread in the archive or here, but can I see some shots of the entire bike with that fender on it? I can't tell from the close-up of just the front fork how the overall package looks. Thanks. | ||

I used the headlight bracket from the XB12Ss Lightning. It took a little bit of creative bending and a couple of spacer washers on the triple tree but it all worked. If you search on my posts I've listed all the part numbers. | ||
