Anyone have any advise before I try a Force Streetfighter exhaust for my 97 Cyclone?????? Like, can I get it from REALLY loud to just loud with the street baffle? Will I still be able to drain my primary fluid without removing the pipe? Does it interfer with the oil hose routing under the engine? Any comments are appreciated. |

You could probably get it from REALLY F'ING LOUD to really F'ING LOUD with the baffle... The baffle doesn't make a lot of difference with the Force pipe on an XB... |

Thanks! The baffle appears to be more for keeping mice from entering than knocking the sound waves down. All the other threads here leave me with the same impression. |

my experience with the force has been very positive, i short shift in the hood and have no problems, i run baffless with impunity! |

M1, I couldn't remember the other thread we were working on before, but I have a new question about the Force. Do you happen to know if the Force muffler will fit on the stock XB12R header and will the chin spoiler still fit? I may have a line on a muffler, which seems like the best of both worlds to install on stock header, although I won't have the benefit of a map for it. |

It should "fit" and I say that because a Drummer fits quite nicely on a Force header... That said... Chop off all the chin spoiler mounting brackets and throw them as far as you can. Then spit in the general direction of Foce Motor Products for using what is most likely the WORST type of metal for that application. I finally got mine to work and not break but it took three iterations of hacking and welding on new metal. The last time tweaked the front mounting circle to the point that my chin spoiler broke (but the mounts didn't...). Go without the spoiler if you use a Force "muffler". If you could get a good map made for a stock header/Force muffler combo I would certainly appreciate it. Be sure to leave "The Box" zeroed and make sure you increase "The Box" to 4K RPM. |

I lost this e-Bay item to a $248 BID. Too steep for me as I just wanted the muffler. I may consider the Drummer Loud Mofo. I wish I knew how to make the bike sound like the way M1 described the Force without actually using a Force exhaust. I have the Pro Series, which is nice, but just not racy enough. I'm not about to spend $400-500 for something just marginally better though. |
