I haven't tried any other aftermarket pads on my XB so I can't really give a fair comparison. They do sound a bit cooler than stock though. It should be fine to keep the rears until they wear out. I've gone through about 3 sets of front pads and still have the stock rear pads.   Nemo Posted on Wednesday, September 07, 2005 - 12:47 pm:        While changing the rear brake pads I slide the piston back into the caliper. I was going to flush the system with new fluid. The reservoir had crud in the bottom. I dumped the fluid wiped up the crud. Now I cannot get fluid to flow to the caliper. Either vacuum bleed the fluid or pressure feed it from the bleeder up. A big syringe or oil squirter works well.   Rhun Posted on Monday, September 19, 2005 - 12:12 pm:        According to EBC the GFA345HH are what XB likes. If I recall I believe he stated that the rotor didn't like the FA345HH, but I could be mistaken. The GFA have similar feel to the stock, but don't fade as much. I only have one track day on them and MAM has really long straights that go into very tight turns. The back wheel would lift some and the front wheel would slide some, but it was controlable. They were about half the price as stock, but have to be bought from a track jober, email EBC for the where. To early to tell how long they last. For racing purposes Buell recommends the Nissens, which your dealer has to get from Buell Racing, about $70 to $105 depending on the kindness of your dealer. Good for about two race dates on the really hot Buells.   Starter Posted on Thursday, September 14, 2006 - 11:18 pm:        As far as I was told by EBC, the FA345HH was all they made for the XB. May be different in Aust. Anyhow the EBC HH pads feel great, bit harsh on the initial bite at first but you get used to it. Only issue I'm having is the humm noise when I apply the brakes that wasn't there before but I recall having the same thing on my GSX-R.
