I can't seem to figure out how to sign up. Is it in the vertical bar on the left(I mean my other left, you know, the right)? That bar is ALWAYS blank on my screen. Anyone know why? (Message edited by Doughnut on August 25, 2005) |

I'm not seeing any way to view the chat. Is it my ad blocker? |

I think Jerry meant... THIS. Just click on the "Online Profile" link at the top right of any Buell page and sign up. Then look for the Buell live chat link tonight at 8:30PM CDT. |

Dunno if [1] I'll be successful logging on; or [2] my Qs will actually get to Erik. Since I went to some effort to compose em, here they are: [1] Acknowledging the historically low sales volume of S3/S3T models, are there plans afoot to enable XB12long buyers to configure their own tourers, using Ulysses pieces? [2] What's the state of the Buell USA dealership network - numbers abandoning/being added? Will '06 production volume be more/same/less than '05? Is Buell expected to be more than 3% of H-D's volume? What's the shipment trend [and corporate emphasis] regarding domestic vs. offshore sales? [3] BRAG events are great fun and a good value, too. Has attendance been satisfactory? Is the Laguna Seca tent going to return in 2006? Is Road America's? Will the road adventures continue to be offered? An additional number annually, or the same? [4] Will the demo program remain? Expand? Change? [5] My tuber [a '99 M2] would benefit from Pro-Series pieces and other P&A that have disappeared from the parts catalog - any chance these pieces will reappear? [6] Many of us believe the abandonment of the Pegasus logo [be it 1st- or 2nd-generation] for the newer oval is unfortunate. Ducati mines its history well, with a wide variety of stickers and patches in whatever logo style one might wish. My helmet, apparel, motorcycle & 4-wheelers would all look better with various-sized RH & LH Pegasus logos - any chance they will return? [7] I'm mildly concerned that "Fuell" was subsumed into "The Enthusiast". Any other similar disappearances of Buell-specific programs on the horizon? Any new Buell programs coming? [8] The frequency of online exchanges of 'R' & 'S' bodywork in a mix-&-match manner suggests there's a P&A opportunity for full or partial bodywork kits - any plans? [9] Buell machine participation in AMA Formula Extreme, with a couple of brave exceptions, has been negligible. Club-level racing, on the other hand, looks to be increasingly healthy, thanx to selected very enthusiastic dealers and factory contingency money. What will 2006 and beyond hold? [10] Any interest is supporting a Ulysses-based effort in the Baja [or similar off-road] races? Please feel free to submit these Qs yerself if you're successful logging on - BWB readers need to know the answers to these [& many other] valid Qs..... |

I have nothing on the right of the three pics on my screen. Guessing it has to do with my fire wall or something. |

Jerry, Strange stuff is going on. When I first posted, there was no link visible to me in your post. Might have been an overzealous ad blocker which I have since shut down. |

Yep, that's what is doing it. I just turned it back on and the link in your post disappears. Strange stuff. |

You first have to go to buell.com and create a profile (username and password). I already had one and logged in. It bumped me back to the main page, and after a while, a separate window popped up for the chat session. Make sure your pop-up blocker is turned off. |

I submitted a question about availability of the "low" seat and how it compares to the standard seat. |

If you're having trouble getting the chat window check if you're blocking popups. I'm using Firefox and block popups. I went into Tool-Options-Web features and allowed buell.com for popups. Before I did that I just kept getting the Buell home page. |

This online chat is a COOL idea!! Participation has leveled out @ 150 folks querying 1/2 dozen Buell employees. I'd rate it a great success.... |

5 minutes after the factory crew signed off, some 50% of those online remain, similar to lighter-lighters at a concert awaiting an encore that isn't coming.... |

I didn't ask any questions but enjoyed it anyway. That VRod engine answer was funny! Is it just me or does it seem like the Buell team isn't wild about the VRod engine? |
