It is amazing what a few innovative thinkers can do with bits and pieces and a will to win in the pits at a track. A good crew or lack thereof can make or break a race weekend (not to toot my own horn) Our crew is primarilly a family operation. My brother Michael is the Pilot. I play crew chief most weekends. My Son Kyle is our gopher, and is getting pretty good at tire warmer changes. My Uncle Larry (LJ) is Our paint specialist and, having a history of drag racing H-D machinery, is an invaluable assett in the pits. Michael's Wife Julie is sometimes the voice of reason in the pits, also has the Duty as "Brolly Girl" when the need arises. Not to mention keeping Michael hydrated and so many other things... The rest of the family supports us despite their better Judgement, or so we're constantly told. Plus we have friends that race that lend a hand. I guess I've droned on long enough, in short yeah, it is amazing how fast you can make repairs in the pits when you're up against a tight time line. |

I just wanted to also say Thanks to everyone that came to the races and supported us all weekend long. I am still very new to racing. The competition is awesome, but the way our crew, fellow NJAmerican Sport BikeC Brag members and Buell enthusiasts from all over come to help us out and cheer us on it the best part of all. Thanks again. Pete |
