Thanks to Odie, I got my Special OPS Pipe 2 weeks ago. and let me tell you : that's a great pipe !!!!! If you ride a XB12 and want to keep the Valve...get the Special OPS.... no loss of Torque and great power... The pipe look great with the 2 outlet and fit great... the Sound tone is Loud and low tone...very bad a$$... love it !!! So anyway I just wanted to share my experience with the Special OPS pipe Regis PS : Unfortunately I live in a veeeeeeery calm area, and my neighbors does not share the same passion for loud bikes...So I will have to go back to stock or Move somewhere else ... and that's too bad because I really Love the special OPS pipe |

Ok, you guys say you don't lose any power or TQ from the stock configuration using Odies pipe. But you also don't gain anymore!!! Five or six hp and Tq make a big difference in the way my bike runs. Maybe Odie can come up with a design to bump up the performance. When My XB 12 is down 10 hp it sucks, its not any fun to ride. (Message edited by norrisperformance on May 22, 2005) |

Congrat's to Odie for giving sound to the stock 12 pipe, I gave it a try last year, but liked the way my bike runs with the race ecm, so I tossed the extra weight in favor of the Drummer. There IS however, another pipe on the horizon |

you know how it works around here if norris don't sell it or make it then he has to discredit it. and its maker. makes him feel good about himself. |

Give me a break guys, I didn’t say anything bad. If what I said is not true, then prove me wrong. I just know from playing with different mods on my bike, a loss of 5 or 6 hp and tq takes the kick out of the bike and a loss of ten makes the bike feel very slow. I think if I can get 88 or better on tq I’ll be happy. Should be there with the nitrous. I plan on doing some motor work this winter. And I don't hide behind bogus screen names to post my opinions, like someone here. (Message edited by norrisperformance on May 22, 2005) |

Combining a Special O.P.S. pipe and being late for work is not necessarily a good idea...I jumped on the interstate this morning and felt the front wheel lift going into third gear. I can definitely admit I'm happy with the performance (and my TFI isn't fully tuned yet). |

Now that's pretty darn sneaky. I'll bet there's a big fat L (loser) stamped in the imposter's forehead. Rob (who really is Rob) |

I put my ops pipe on last sunday. Let it idle a minute and thought how good it sounds. Didn't ride it until monday morning going to work, damn that's loud. I don't think it's that loud, but after riding with the stock pipe for so long... I did wear ear plugs today and it really makes a difference. From a power stand point, it feels like it runs just a bit better (although I haven't revved it out yet, just commuted) than before and I haven't changed my tfi settings either. I might have gone with the drummer but I like the duel outlet and also keeping the valve too... I'm happy... Oh, and Odie is good to deal with as I'm sure Kevin is too... Thanks, Odie... Kevin |

Thanks to MOST of you for the kind words. Sort of been out of the net since my wife had major surgery on Monday. Mom-in-law's in town also. Recovery is going ok and it will be about 5 weeks or so. The pipe speaks for itself. And if that isn't enough, satisfied customers for sure help out! Odie |
