Nils, thanks for setting up the bar deals, what time? If it's in the evening I may have a hockey game to go to (or watch, depending on if the Gophers get home ice for the playoffs). I'd love to meet you guys out to watch the races and BS about the summer rides to come! |

The races start at 11:00 A.M. So I plan on being there around then. Every one is welcome, the owner is going to advertise it in a couple of the free papers like MMM and City Pages. Nils |

If we can get a lot of people to show up, the owner is interested in having us have our meetings there. The have a patio and bike parking out front. The Bull Dog is also centrally located so that members out west don't have to fight traffic to make BRAG meetngs. Spread the word. Nils |

Sounds great! I plan on being there on the 12th! I like the idea of Brag meetings being held there. I might have to fight traffic but I won't mind since it's only 10 blocks from where I live! |

Anybody know Kevin Paulson? He was in the Streetfighters section in the November/December 2004 issue of Fuell. He works at South Lyndale Liquours. He tipped me off about him being in Fuell a couple of weeks ago when I was at the liquor store. I don't know how he knew I ride a Buell. I guess he's seen me in there in the summer on my M2. If I'm in South Lyndale before March 12 (oh, I will be ) and see Kevin I'll mention the Bull Dog thing to him. |

11am works for me, won't interfere with a 7pm hockey game. If you're looking for Buell owners in Minneapolis to round up, find the guy who goes to or works at Matt's bar! I was there last Saturday and a guy drove down the street on a gnarly old Buell with leather saddle bags and I think he was wearing shorts! The bike was parked out front the whole time I was there but I couldn't figure out who rode it. |

Is that the Matt's "Home of the Juicy Lucy" in south Mpls? On Cedar? |

Yeah, that's the one. Had to complete our comparison of Juicy Lucy between 5-8 club and Matt's. I think Matt's won, partly because there was a Buell there in February! |

Richard, I like your attitude, I'll try to make it if the weather holds out. I could really use a ride right now, gone right now but will be back in town on Wednesday night. My Buell goes in any weather, it's not a collector item ya know! It's definitely Aerostich/Gerbing riding weather right now but soon that will change. Very soon... |

Lou and I made it tonight, along with a bunch of old farts. I even got the "what kind of bike is that man?" from a drunk guy on lyndale on the way home. He walked up to me and chatted for a minute at a stop light telling me how "bad that bike is, it's just bad ". Let the riding season begin! |

Actually we were there til 9! It was pretty nice out, dry and calm anyway. My bike thermometer said 35 on the way there and 27 when I left. Give a call next time if you're wondering. Definitely going to try to make it on the 12th. |

Sounds like coverage of the races starts at 10:00AM CST. Here's the blurb from Speed Channel Saturday, March 12 Race fans can settle in for nearly a full day of action on Saturday, March 12, with five and one-half continuous hours of live coverage from Daytona International Speedway beginning at 11 a.m. EST. Kicking off Saturday’s action is the opening round of the AMA Superbike Championship presented by Parts Unlimited. With the deepest field in years, five-time series champ and Yoshimura Suzuki rider Mat Mladin will have to hold off teammates Aaron Yates and Ben Spies, American Honda’s Miguel Duhamel and Jake Zemke, Erion Honda’s Kurtis Roberts and Ducati Austin’s Eric Bostrom and Neil Hodgson for a shot at this year’s title. Look for Attack Kawasaki’s Josh Hayes, Diablo Performance Racing’s Steve Crevier and Francis Martin, Michael Jordan Motorsports’ teammates Jason Pridmore and Steve Rapp, and others to join the mix as well. |

Recap of last minute, short notice, multi BRAG club officers meeting. Well we had 8 people there so not a bad turn out given the short notice. We decided that the second Sunday of every month, starting in May is a gathering at the Hamburger Haus in Dundee. It is, I have been told, already a bike hangout and is right in the middle of the good roads in the Kettle. By doing this we should have a good number of Buell congregating without having to have big group rides. All groups will ride their own route to Dundee and back home. Think mini Rock Store atmosphere. Riders that don't care to ride in a group at all can just ride to Dundee. Meeting time will be 1:00 PM or there abouts. This will also take pressure off club officers as to planning things to do. Those riders that can make it, make it, those that can't, come the next month. It will also make it easy to remember for club members.
