You will never recover the cost of engine mods on a bike. Your asking price is about $1000-1200 more than you can resonable expect for a 10 year old bike. I'm not trying to sound harsh but Buells resale value is really low right now. |

Unfortunately Dan is correct, and it would help to have the stock carbon fiber aircleaner cover than that hypercharger. What are the marks on the front of the tank cover? |

Looks like a dragon logo. Damn sharp bike. I think you can get that price, but you'll have to keep it 100% sharp and keep it infront of people (ie, car & bike shows, ads etc). Might take 6-9mo but you'll sell it. Now if you want to sell it today, figure $4000. |

Thanks guys for the inputs. I do have the stock Carbon aircleaner cover, it's just that the vibrations from the 10:1 pistons broke the tabs off. The dragon is a Welsh dragon sticker from when I was in Whales visiting. The original owner I bought it from had a guy push the bike over when the pearl paint was only two weeks old. And that was on base...... I understand about not getting the money back that I put into the engine but, it's all pretty new Edelbrock stuff. Thanks again but I've put way too much money for it to go under $4500..... I guess I'll have to keep my fingers crossed. It's a great bike though.... Just had a baby and need to get a truck with room for her seat..... |
