Looks nice. Where did you get the LED's from. I'm doing the same type of mod on my 12S. |

Biofilter... Isn't that for the S model? Did you do it, or is that a purchased item? I cannot see the bracket for your plate... |

A buddy of mine did that to the back of his ZX7. Looks very clean, but hard to see in the daylight. Nighttime is another story... Thought about it my self, but I think I will stick to old fashioned turn signals for now... Rich |

Hack saw, side grinder, maybe a little metal filler and sand paper. And the will to take your time. It wasn't that difficult. Just make sure you don't cut too high. I'm still tryin' to get the paint on mine. So damn cold now, the heater in the garage doesn't get warm enough!! |

Blake, or one of his Lackeys Understandable gesture Thanses, but if you want to advertise services (for anything above materials cost), you need to be a sponsor. Besides, we are a pretty tough crowd of chronic cheapskate doityourselfers Contact Blake offline if you want to be a sponsor, its not super cheap, but not so much that you can do moderate to low volume business and still make money. |

Then share what you did and how you did it.Like what type sandpaper etc. so people can do it them selves. |

I told you Thansesxb9rs. Whether fair or not, them's the rules. I see it from both sides. Don't get turned off to the site, just don't ever offer services. Too much red tape!! By the way, yours turned out nice. Like the color match. Me, I used paper with sand on it. That's the type I used. |

Seriously, mark your line. Cut about 1/4 inch away from it, and use a side grinder to shape, metal filler to fill any voids(amazing how easy this thing marks up!) Start out with a fairly course sandpaper(NOT TOO COURSE, note above marking issue). Progress to finer paper till smooth as a babies, and go from there. Me, I used a paint stripping gel. Took a few coats, but brought it to bare aluminum. More sanding to smooth it out. Now just waiting to paint. That's how I did it anyway. One other thing. Don't uses a saws-all. Way too rough. Use a hack saw. More time consuming, but easier to control. |

Add some common sense into Rocketsprink post and anyone who wants to perform the hacking of the cheese grader will do just fine!!!!! Seriously!!!!!!!! |

Common sense!!?? Common sense tells you NOT to cut pieces off your bike!! The idea of something new and made me do it! But your point is well taken and should be used. |

Actually Dana, with the Anodized paint, it needs to be bare metal. Then shot with a "groundcoat" as they call it, which is basically silver metal flake paint, then the two different top coats. |

Thanses, don't take it personally. Nobody expects you to do work for free. You were fine until you quoted a price and indicated you would do it for others. The non sponsor rule is not super obvious until you have to think about it, we understand that. And it is SUPER easy to find yourself accidently on the wrong side of it, we understand that too. So no hard feelings, no anger or anything, we just want to protect the investment of the people (sponsors) that do help Blake fund the site we all appreciate so much. |

OK, you guys talked me into it! I'm doin' this myself. BadS1, my 12S is gonna be a black copy of yours, since I kinda wanna emulate ya. Got the Moose bars, 3rd Eye mirrors, etc. Just waitin' to do the tail now! Thanks for the inspiration. |

Chris just look inside the tail section with the seat off and before you take the cheese grader off. You'll want to look to see where you want to drill your holes for your turn signals.Otherwise the stalks may hit something in the inside.mark them off so you know. |
