The 3% BRAGging Rights Club It's our local BRAG chapter. We live for riding in the twisties. We love hot Georgia days in the mountains. But we'll ride even though it's not always...

Great pictures Bigbird! I have a black '04 DL650 also-great commuter bike! But the Buell is much more fun. I've ridden a XB12R, XB12S(with race kit), and the new XB9SX. They are sooo much fun! It brings out that grin that reminds you why you like motorcycles in the first place. Like the others, I agree that a Buell should look like a blur in the pictures. Glad you can enjoy the good weather. The rest of us will have to wait a bit longer. Cheers! |

Here is a video from one of the 3%ers favorite runs: I hope I don't offend anyone, but although the video was ok it wasn't as good as I had hoped. I've ridden that road a few times, and it's pretty spectacular. A lot of curves you can actually see through far enough to really get down to business. In the video I noticed a moderate amount of braking mid-turn, poor line choices, wobbling while leaned over, bodies not far enough off of the bike, running all over the center paint while leaned over (it is often more slippery than pavement and also subjects the rider to oncoming traffic)and a camera man in the back who obviously is faster than the subjects he is filming because he kept running up on them mid-turn (actually his riding looks pretty good). I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, and there are lots of riders out there that could serve me my own arse on a platter. But I also have to say this video is a 50/50 split of great road, mediocre riding, and a decent demonstration of some of the things one typically shouldn't do when leaned over in a turn. As they say, your mileage may vary! |

I was kinda thinking the same thing BigBird... Two of the three riders in fron of the camers where pushing their bike under to make lean angle. It looked like the one on the F4 was afraid to allow his shoulders to move lateraly. Not meant to flame, but just constructive criticism is all. |

Hello from NC. We still got all that great weather here in NC. Been cutting the letters out of the airbox though. Rubberdown and myself have ridden twice this week. The second time I rode without the air box on, man was it loud. |

Stealth, Is that where xb's go when they reach heaven? Looks ALOT like my hwy,('cept green), and I agree with the reviews, but show me a road such as that where you can see to the end of the corner!, man I'd never have a set of knee pucks last long enough! Thx again, hope to ride there someday! |
