What happened to Fishgut's post? I was thinking of a reply and now the post is gone! Come on! Put it back! You might be surprised by the reply that I was working on. It might have been a public service for Mr. Fishgut and all those who feel the way he does. Well, I'll try from memory. No, I won't! It wouldn't mean anything. |

"Well, I'll try from memory. No, I won't! It wouldn't mean anything." Hey.. I lost my cool and said a few things to one of the other instigators in this mess, and I got a letter saying they removed the post and asked me to refrain from replies. Maybe the best course of action all the way around. Just let the crap die off. I like being here, and like it just like it is. I treat the BadWeb like I do the radio or TV.. if I don't like whats playing.... I just change the dang channel! Nick |

Ummmmn, those of you who are (this board wouldn't print the abbreviated version of those last two words: censorship run amok?) getting yer knickers in a twist over the pink bummed XB babe had better not get too close to Buell Motor Co.s latest traveling bikeshow display.... The looping ads were easily the most creative, edgy and hip of any of the mfgr's seen at Toronto's recent bikeshow. Butt.... (get it?) they feature some VERY comely young ladies.... dressed in ways that may send some of you repressed puritans into fits of self-abuse.... Be warned. |

Lornce, Are they bending over sticking their hot-pink clad in my face? No, I didn't think so. If a woman did that to me in public or wherever, the pain she would experience would give her pause against ever repeating the act. Scantily clothed is fine. Hot-pink in my face is not. It's where I draw the line between inocuous and overt. And frankly I and others simply got tired of looking at it in so many discussion threads. !@#$% I'm tired of explaining this! |

Save your strength there M2me. Some things are not worth the effort, and believe me, after dealing with Sean/Rocketman/Fishguts for near five years now, I've had it. It was a unanimous concensus among all custodians to finally cut that canker for good. Sad, really, really sad, because once upon a time, he was a wonderful, creative and uplifitng contributor here. |

Blake, Can't remember for certain if there were any really overt bum-bum close-ups (there may have been?) but there were certainly a variety of suggestive and overt sexually evocative images. Much the same as the above sighted ad for the S1. Which is a lovely bit of traffic stopper, btw. Lornce |

I guess it must have been the "Dog Days" for Buell, sales weren't so great and they had to appeal to our penis deficiencies to buy one. Sort of like a Corvette, which is now a great woman's car. LMAO Out'y, yer way off base. The ad was about the stopping power of a set of brakes that allowed you to slow down to take a look see. Not about covering up any deficiencies. |

Childish post? Youbettcha! did it hijack the thread (even temporarily) from this topic -- well, not as successfully as it might have, granted Actually, the Mason Dixon line isn't too far south of Chicago -- Im south of there many times during the riding season! |

I don't think I'd stand a chance against the R1 (I'm not stupid either). Some numbers for Miata-boy to contemplate: Stock C5 Corvette.... 350HP 375 ft/lb torque Top Speed - 175 0-60 - 4.6 seconds 1/4 mile - 13.2 seconds Power to weight - 9.28lb per HP No response yet from Miata-boy |

The Miata had better have twin Busas engines with turbos if it wants to keep up. |

7.3 lbs / rear wheel HP That's with me on the bike. Seems plenty to haul me around the North Georgia Mountains this weekend. |

I confess to, although not yet bit, having the "Jaws of Vette" firmly clamped to me. I keep chanting the mantra...."I NEED a pickup truck in NYC". Well done GM. |

You can sure tell when winter hit's this board.A buncha bored people.I think I am gonna go work on some motorcycles(remember them??) in the barn,I have some nice nitrous parts to fit and shiny turbo parts to play with. Then I am gonna put some more parts on eBay to sell, then use my new media blast cabinet to clean some Buell stuff. Maybe you all should do the same. Oh,yeah,(and I know this is really out there) Have a Merry Christmas and happy holidays!! |

FMJ, Whaddya mean remember them (the motorcycles)? I ride every day of the year (except when I will be back in East Troy for Christmas, and if I will be in Berlin in January). There are some of us who are STILL riding! I was going to put some parts on ebay last night (no time), so I hope to do so tonight. Unfortunately you beat me to the punch with some of your parts. Also, check your E-mail as I have asked a question on one of yours. 1313 |

Whew...had IP server problems this morning and couldn't log on to the BWB. I see I have been duly razzed about my Corvette humor. Well, let it be known that I water and feed my Miata daily in hopes that some day it will grow up to be a Vette. Then, a Ferrari wouldn't be bad either. |

4.3 lbs per rwhp with me on the bike. And that Miata dune buggy deal doesnt look half bad, except for the red mudflaps & possibly the wierd brush guard. Looks like something owned by one of CJ's dates. |

Dyna...It's not wise to comment about how the red mud flaps conflict with the blue body work. |
