Well not yet anyways, wont get to the posting of pics till tomorrow. Too damn tired right now. Track was great, traffic was light, maybe 40 or so bikes were there. I put on 150 track miles & am beat. The usual suspects were there, myself, Dave Penny & Bobbie, Dennis..aka lakeBueller, Chuck..aka Easyflier, Jim..aka JimmyTwoBuells, & a few other folks who came down with Dave from the Appleton area. Tune in later tomorrow for all the fun & exciting pics |

at least getting a butt cheek off the seat Well, must admit hiking a cheek and passing some gas is an effective way of keeping the competition off your tail. |

All the way to the edge of the tread you can! Did it at Battletrax and track days all the time! No chicken strips on the XB's tires! |

Ok here's the pics, may not get them all up right now..finish up later. I was the first to arrive so I started setting up camp, it was a rather brisk 41 degrees. left to right, Penny, Dennis & easyflier...ps Dave is also there somewhere Dennis's S1 Lining up for tech. Our gracious hosts for the day. Hope to do many more track days with them next year. Dennis & Chuck..aka Easyflier. Behind them is the Silver power ranger, that guy would later literally launch his CBR600 into the air fence. Dennis, how do you keep your tires so nice & shiny? You use primary oil on them? Whatever works I guess This Triumph was absolutely gorgeous in person. Our motley assortment of bikes.

Literally chillin out We also brought the coolers & a small grill for cooking, we had burgers & brats for lunch. Dennis in his DOT but not Snell approved headgear. Jim posing & my wife freezing. Penny figured out a good way to stay warm Part of the Appleton gang on a TL1000 Dennis with his autographed leathers. Ernie..sorry dont remember his real name..part of Daves crew also had a slight mishap. Bike still runs, just left a nice trail of pretty broken green plastic parts.

His helmet took a licking as did his hand. Bobbie..daves mother-inlaw, Ernie & Dave examining the remains. The taped worked great on the headlights. Rather prophetic isnt it? Course nobody is immune to crashing. This belonged to one of the crew members from a video taping service who would ride behind & film you on your bike. Would love to see the DVD from his crash. This poor SV got pretty messed up.

Yep....too many crashes (see my 1st Track day thread). No serious BODY damage. Lots of plastic damage. Dana...I completely forgot that was there. I couldn't figure out why Dyna was taking a picture of my . It wasn't until I was taking my leathers off at the end of the day that I saw the signature. I think it was from the open house 2 or 3 years ago. (Message edited by lake_bueller on October 05, 2004) |

More big pics...easier to see the riding style of Dennis & Chuck. Chuck is on the right in this pic. Dennis in the same corner. Chuck up front Dennis leading Chuck. Funny how far you think you are leaned over & then you see the pics & it isnt that far really.
