But R1DynaSquid should not have posted it IMHO. If you knew hoe Dyna was treated, in reguards to his X1, actually knew how some of the things went down, you might not say this, maybe someday he will realte the entire story, you may than understand R |

My take is that the whole thing should have been done without jeopardizing the career of the reported source if info. Especially since Dyna knows beyond a doubt that if caught that individual will be terminated. That is just plain mean!!! |

I know nothing of the sort. hey if Blake can claim he has never heard of Hoban brothers, then I can claim that. |

Well, you can see that Dyna is in a Catch-22. If he doesn't give any details of how he heard this, we all think "BS". When he does, he gets damned for potentially hosing this guy's life. I do think I would have erred on the side of risking having no one believe me rather than risking a dude's job. Personally, I think someone should put a Revo in a tubeframer just so we can prove Anon wrong- "there will never be a Revo Buell"....

Im not giving details..just that I heard it. End of story, believe it or not. So far my batting percentage has been pretty damn good in regards to this sort of thing. |

Whodom, Gimme a tube frame buell, with no motor, and a Revo motor, and I'll build one |

Steve, I do think that would be a cool project. At least there'd be no arguments about whether it would fit or not like with the XB's. Maybe after I get another 20 or 30k miles on my Thunderbolt I'll volunteer it for the project. Anybody want to donate a Revo engine? Hugh |

So far my batting percentage has been pretty damn good in regards to this sort of thing. I agree totally! Even the old "Highland House" sightings, etc. I thrive on stuff like that. We all do. I just don't want some fellow terminated for a mistake. You have to admit that you read all the time where reporters are fined or go to jail for not revealing their sources. In your case, you have been right so many times, why bother to hurt someone. You have plenty of credibility. "I know nothing of the sort." Bull Roar...unless you have misspoke in the past. |

Whodom, I agree, it would be a cool project. I know I could do it too. I'm a machinist/tool designer by trade, and have the keys to the shop But, I'm not about to do this type of project with my everyday bike(I've got a '98 S3T). I could actually make a kit to do this in to Tube frame Buells |

So boys, we got that LIGHTBULB changed YET Just my thoughts but from meeting him a couple times last summer and reading his posts, Dyna, I really can't see him bullpoop anyone. In my opinion he always shoots straight from the hip and if you don't like it then FEck Ya. "But what do I know, I'm only a COOK!!!" |

That'd be nice to throw into a tube frame. Just think if you put that into an old lightning tube frame, call it a Lightning-Rod maybe??? I might even donate my X-1 for the cause. (Message edited by bluelightning on August 25, 2004) |

Bill, You missed out on a great feed of Salt Cod, Hard Bread and Scrunchions (Fat Port bits) that my lovely mother-in-law cooked for myself and "da boys" the last night before they left to catch the boat to get off the island. If you want some more salt cod, drop me your address and I will send a small package. |

Whodom, Now only if HD didn't send their Dyno mules to the "crusher", I could probably get one cheap... I kinda knows this guy who works in this certain R&D dyno room |

Hey Glitch- are you there? Could you whip us up a quick Photoshop of a Revo engine in a tube frame? |

Not all "mules" end up in the crusher, some get redirected on the way to the bins and crusher. I know a guy who knows a guy ..... |

Newfie...thanks for the offer, but will pass. I really enjoyed the batch you sent and I probably didn't even follow the recipe all that well. Just turned out to be a little too much sodium for my BP levels. Lots of stuff I love, but can no longer eat. Still using the Savory! Found a number of ways to improve my cooking with it. Even found some local sources, for it. Well, make that a reasonable substitute. LOL |

Dyna...Next time you hear somebody getting carried away, buy him a few more and ask if he can get me one of these out of the Skunk Works? They can remove all the badges, paint it primer gray, remove a few simple parts and sell it to me with an assemblers title. Plus, I will pay cash and sign a non-disclosure agreement to never reveal the original source. Heck, I will even pay you back for the drinks you bought the guy. LOL Now that is my Fantasy Bike! |
