Penny, I won't be going on Friday, though I think Sardawg plans to make the run with you, not sure though. We did a little ride last Sunday to get him ready for some road miles. Still not sure if I will be able to attend at all, if so I won't be able to leave until Saturday morning. |

Wycked, yeah we'll keep you warm !! There's a nice toasty heater in the lobby of the hotel and the couch is comfy, comfy and we will make sure they let you stay there !! Of course in return for the favor, you gotta bring coffee to us the next morning !! CJ |

It was exactly one year ago today that I was riding down to Racine for the 20th. It was hotter than hell that week. I actually like this cooler weather better for riding at least. |

You will be coming from Davenport right? Looks like you'd take 61 north to 151 then in Dubuque get on 20 and go west to the edge of town. The truck stop is on the south side of the hywy and I think Dave said it was a 66 station. Dave, do you have better directions? We will be there between 11:30 & 12, it's 90 miles for us and it's usually our first stop but it depends if we need to stop and thaw out sooner. My cell #319-504-1035 if you need to call. I hope it doesn't snow tomorrow! |

Sardawg, Just about when you think you've gone too far west and missed it, go about 2 miles more and there it is. It is on the waaaay western edge of Dubuque and it is a 66 truck stop, south side of Hwy 20. Dave |

Sounds like a HOG ride to me! If they leave around 10:30 or 11:00 they should be in Appleton around 5:30 or 6:00! |

John, a HOG ride would never make it to appleton in 1 day. Would have to stop halfway & soend the night. BTW..you manage to score those items we discussed? |

Dyna, I am planning on leaving here about 4am. since the map program says about 6 hours for Madison and that gives me a bit of time for fuel stops on the XB. How about emailing me a cell number that I can call in case I am running behind. I knwo last weekend I hit some horrendous traffic between Gary and Chicago that I have to go through again this weekend. Just trying to hit it earlier but we will see. wyckedflesh at hotmail |

Wycked, You coming from the detroit area?? You shouldn't even be going towards Madison to get to Appleton. I always have the best luck taking the skyway when going to and from Michigan. It costs money but is shorter. Since you have been through recently you know about the construction. If you need a number for saturday you can call me as well. (414-759-4171). I will be meeting everybody at Hal's. Have a safe ride |

Kinger I figured the ride with the group from Hal's would be worth the detour. Thanks for the number. |

FWIW i should be leaving Verona (madison) around 1000-1030hrs. taking the route as dave suggested, 151 to 26 to 41. mapquest says two hours, but im thinking it will be closer to 1.5. might stop someplace for lunch and to rest (if the wife is along) my #608 385 3210 Ken |

Wycked, If you're coming from Detroit and want to meet up with people at Hal's don't go to Madison. That's a big detour! |

Ok folks you can blame Microsnot and my using Gregs directions instead of using the actual addy from HAls to put in my map program I got it straightened out now Streets and LSD Trips kept going to a S. Moorland in Madison and not New Berlin and since in Gregs post he put to take the I-94 to Madison...well you can guess the rest. Thank you all for the corrections it made me relook at mine |
