Due to circumstances beyond my control, I'm afraid that I will be unable to attend. It does sound like fun, though. (Message edited by Crusty on August 12, 2004) (Message edited by Crusty on August 12, 2004) |

Chad, not sure if I'll be able to make it or not. Will be a spontaneous decision based on a few factors, if I can make it though I'll be happy to go with you. Penny, what time of the day do you plan on heading that way? |

Dave, Could you post the motel info again? I called the number you posted and got a room but I don't know where it is or who it is or anything! I've got a room reservation somewhere in Appleton! Also, some info about where the event is, directions, etc. Crusty, You could have said, "Due to a peanut butter sandwich beyond my control". |

Greg, if I can come I will be on the 9. Got some bad news about the 12 yesterday, needless to say it didn't turn out to be as good a deal as I had hoped. Rear sparkplug was stripped, 5-600 for the dealer to do a helicoil fix or 900 to replace the head. I'm still thinking over my options. I hadn't planned to do any motor work until it had quite a few miles on it but if I have to pull the motor, or pay to have it dropped, for a simple fixed I might as well get some other things done at the same time. Unfortunately my wallet isn't in agreement at the moment. Hell, maybe I'll see what Dave will give me on trade for both bikes on a 2005 XB12R in black. The 12 is pretty and only has 3600 miles on the odometer. As it is I'm not even certain I can make the track day. A lot of things going on in my life right now so I'm taking life day by day. |

Hooters...hmm why do I keep ending up at Hooters? Dyna, if you have to keep asking that, you are hopeless. The R1 and a Hooter's fixation are the classic beginnings of a typical male MID LIFE CRISIS. If you are lucky it will pass before MALE MENOPAUSE sets in. Just don't kill yourself or anyone else in the process. We really do like you and besides, many of us have been there, but only the strong or lucky survive. |

Nah, I went thru the midlife deal quite early in my life. Hit 30 & had a hard time with it. Booted the wife out, got a girlfriend..or 2, was out drinking every damn night, etc. Life is good now, no reason for a crisis. But I do love them damn Hooters Buffalo strips, & the eye candy isnt too bad either. |

It's not at the big mall by Hooters Dyna. It's at the Northand Mall on Northland Ave Take exit 139 off of I41 and go east about a mile and a half, it's on the north side of the street. I'll get the hotel info tomorrow at work and post it again here. Dave |
