I jumped on this when I saw the original post. I emailed 'em twice for more info, but have yet to hear from them. I noticed the disappearance of the "Buell" blurbage, too. It looked pretty promising. Hope they come through. For 500 bucks, I might have gone for it. Anyone seen anything comparable? |

Sounds to me like there's a good chance it is never going to do anything. Steve steve_s@ukbeg.com www.ukbeg.com |

now what is this thing gonna do exactly? Hopefully let us the owners reset the TPS, set the timing, AFV, and such without having to go to the dealer. |

It works like those scanners that they sell from Snap-on to diagnose your car. |

Just a thought, but does anybody have a discrete connection to someone internal at Snap-On? Sometimes item A is also packaged as item B with a few jumper settings changed, so to speak. Computers are computers, why reinvent the wheel just because one customer wants something proprietary. Like I said, just a thought. |

Mike the scanalyzer uses proprietary software according to both my instructors from school and Snap-on. I asked, as an MMI student in the HD program, I think if they had it, I could have and would have bought it in a heartbeat. |

then they need to hurry up and come out with this thing so i wont have to pay some eles to mess with my baby i can do it my self your dealer is the best place to be....for tps and a/fr reset.. (if your bike needs it to much there's something wrong ) if you want to do it your self, you really should know what your doing. ( no offence ) i see it more as a thinker tool.. as my bike has got a tps calibration / af reset 3 times in 20ooo miles and that's 2 times for a switch in ecm's gr, B |

did you try www.bikehospital.nl ?? and intresting stuff yep, i cot one the shop owner is very dedicated to tuning buell's , as he has a flow bench and a braked dyno ( there's only 1 guy on the shop floor helping out the doctor ) for a little shop that's a big investment. and he really know's his stuff. and what i mean with "your dealer is the best place for tps " only the software will cost about 500 dollar, you need a laptop/serial port hookup you can get allot off tps's done for that money, and if you hook up, you need to know a little bit about how the Fi works to translate the readings to spot any thing wrong btw. actually i can't recal ever to have payed for a tps gr, b |
