Wow...We really have some diversified tastes here. No wonder Erik had a tough time with the new model line up. Just teasing Erik. Awww...come on, don't sic Court or anybody else on me. Just gimme a call, I'm in the book and on your way to HD. I'll whip up a BBQ and we can laugh at all the posts on the BWB. |

I didn't think of the Britten. Can I change now? Or since money's no object can I have both?

>>>No wonder Erik had a tough time with the new model line up. Bill...now THAT *IS* funny, I hadn't thought of that but you get this diverse a crowd and then have to serve ONE meal to them....better he than me! Put me down for the Britten (I have a friend with 2 surely he could part with one ) just to look at, a Honda Cub to rember where we came from, a CL77 to recall my 14th B-Day and a Triumph 650. I'd need those for emotional reasons. For riders one of the new retroDucs would be a must, the S-2 stays and gets a BMW Tourer companion. And I gotta hve one of those City Cross things as I have an idea (ala Barney) how to finish what Buell started. Eager to place order...When do I get this money?

I thought I could only pick one bike. If I can have more than one, I'll take one of every motorcycle ever made. Except Yamahas - they suck! |

Crusty, and Buells Blow...up Note that the preceding message was intended strictly for amusement & bears no actual relevance to the present day Buells. As always your mileage may vary, open slowly contents under pressure, packed by weight not volume, contents may settle during shipping. |

Court... are you thinking what I'm thinking with regard to the XB9 City Cross? Heated grips, gear reduction, another 4 inches of suspension travel, skidplate (maybe just an armored drummer), frame protectors, GPS mount, removable hard luggage? This is a "money is no object" thread, correct? The more I think about the City Cross concept, the more interested I get. The XB platform could make a hell of an interesting dual sport type platform (think BMW 1150 GS, not XR650). I'm sure Buell would already have one if the market would support it. It's a shame that niche already has more great bikes then it can support, they would be great all around bikes. edited by reepicheep on July 17, 2004 |

Glad everybody is having fun with this thread. The one bike thing, well it wasn't really a rule, "more like guidelines".

Hey Glitch, I got to see one of those retro Ducs just like in your pic at a friends house in San Diego. Can you say drool! That thing is sweet! Of course the guy had a Vette and four other bikes as well. He could afford it. Oh yea, and if I had to pick one I'd get a BMW Karylian Star Destroyer Cruiser... Don't know what model it is, but I love it! LOL |
