That silver Buell "chopper" that 1313 posted pictures of is a local bike here in Raleigh NC. As a matter of fact, my Firebolt took 2nd place to that bike in Ray Price's last open house bike show. I hate to see a Buell get chopped up, but quite a bit of effort went into that bike. The owner wanted to retain the stock S1 look, so he had the tank made to replicate the stock tank. What's interesting is that he has welds painted onto the flyscreen and rear fender to match the real welds on the tank. For what it's worth, I got to ride the S1 that bike is based on before the current owner bought it. Mike L. |

Looks good Jack Has anybody got pics of customised X1 White Lightnings? I've just bought one, my first Buell (woohoo!), and I'm just looking for ideas... (or maybe I should just leave it alone and ride it!) |

>>>The only problem is that PT Cruiser is made in Mexico So are Mexicans and a host of my favorite food. Tis a global economy. I learned on Saturday that even my Saab convertible is no longer made by Saab but some Austrian group that does the new 9-3, CLK Series and some other convertible. Why do I keep hearing Campbell R. McDonnell in my head? Court |

Okay...it's not a Buell pic but it is becoming a BLAST (thinly veiled Buell reference) to see what "lights up" in NYC these days. We have the RNC and the Plenary Session approaching and the NYPD, FBI and DHS have become quite innovative in what they use for undercover vehicles. This one lit up in front of me yesterday.... And just what is this....SuperSirius Satellite Radio? |
