Got one leaking (it's been sitting for 5 years, no surprise). Anyone have a source for seals n stuff?

You can use fork seals from a KTM, they use similar forks on their older bikes. I remember when I had to rebuild mine a few years ago I pulled the seal, measured it with some calipers, and just found a pair online with the same dimension and I've been running them for 7-8 years now with no trouble. The brass bushings had enough wear on them that I should have replaced them, but I just had to skip those and again they've been fine. They were K&S brand, 50mm x 40mm x 7/10mm.

Someone else on the forum wrote that the KTM number for the wp fork seals is 40541034.

Also, this is a list of KTMs that use the same seals for reference:

KTM:
300 DXC (90-92)
300 EXC/EGS (90-95)
300 GS (86)
300 MX (86, 90-92)
300 MXC (86, 94-95)
300 SX (93-95)
300 TXC (92)
350 EXC/EGS (90-91, 94-95)
350 GSXC (85)
350 LC4 EXC (94)
350 MX (85-86, 90-91, 94)
350 MX Enduro (87)

Wow, is this ever timely! I've not posted on BW for a LONG time. Pesky life thing...
Anyway I got a call from the owner of the 98 S1W I put together many moons ago. You guessed it, leaky fork!
This S1W was a rolling chassis I got from Fireman Jim, sourced a 02 X1 motor and got it back on the road.
We call it the Thunder Thong..
I can now get the necessary seals etc for the WP forks..
Thanks for starting this thread!
