Is the G0500.01a7 a replacement for the factory G0500.1AKF for a 2009 XB12XT? |

According to the St. Paul site, it's for a Blast. So, no. |

Rule of thumb for supercessions? -1AKF would become -1AKG. Alphabetical. Usually the suffixes (after the -) denotes what model. Uly is -1AK; "F" is the sixth supersession (starts with simply -1AK, then -1AKA, -1AKB, and so forth). |

Thanks all. I'm trying to find a new belt and was hoping somebody might know of a less expensive replacement |

A bit late here , but I ordered a belt from summit racing August 29th. Last shipping date was November 12th. Fixing to start looking elsewhere. Any suggestions as there have been stories of folks not being able to get this belt in a timely manner. Thanks |

St. Paul shows a replacement belt by Belt Drive Ltd for the Ulysses G0500.1AKF. It's $225 bucks! That's like $50 more than I paid last time. https://st-paul-harley-davidson-buell.myshopify.co m/collections/belts/products/135t-drive-belt-repla cement-for-g0500-1akf-ulysses-and-lightning-long-m odels |

I bought one off Amazon when I saw that St. Paul was offering an aftermarket. HardDrive 62-1960 1-1/8" Drive Belt 135 Teeth,Black I paid just over $200, looks like it is $199 this morning. Free shipping if you are Prime. So far it has gotten me home every time. Only a few thousand miles though. |

It's good to see you are still out there riding, Sagehawk. I think about you every now and then as I ride past the track. Ride safe and keep riding. |

who said i was riding buellerxt? ever since wife had those strokes, we havent been out on bikes. ive had buell out every now and then but i bet since new years 2019, i havent put 500 miles on buell. it has sat in garage. im looking for a new and improved short trip bike as i still work. found some dr650s but i got reminded on how much crap needs done around house. money involved that is. something about justice, but i am 67 now and fun times are growing short. oh well. we do what we can right? if there is a time you want to get together, give a holler. im not riding with anyone at moment much less any buell fans. |

Oh sage one, sorry to hear about your bride. That age thing just keeps raising it's ugly head! I put my car back in storage which means I rode the Uly back home. It really felt good to get back on 2 wheels! I feel ya on home maintenance, I'm in the same boat. Hopefully we can make it to shore so we can ride again! Take care! |

I'm sorry to hear about your wife, Sage. I sure hope she recovers well enough to enjoy life with you. Age and ailments, Errr. I'm a tad older at 74 but though I've had some not-so-good bumps over the past year and a half I'm trying to live by Clint Eastwood's motto of 'Don't Let the Old Man In'. I'm back out riding pretty often but the rides are not nearly as long as I had grown accustomed to. They are fun though. I wish the very best to you both, Sage and Tootal. |
