Picked up this full assembly from aliexpress. Bolted right up and clipped right into the wiring harness. No splicing or anything needed. Both lights are on with the low beams, high beams fill in the bubbles on the side a bit. I'm going to try them in the dark tonight to see how they really work and aim them properly. But so far so good. |

Here is the low beam. High beam is just a spotlight. In my opinion it's a huge improvement over stock. |

I found that same light on Ebay but this is much cheaper from AliExpress! Did the headlight protector/grill clip straight on or did you have to tweak it? The light looks very shallow/thin in the pictures - I don't suppose you have a picture of it from the side? |

Llama: From the Amazon product photos...
Nice! Brighter and better lighting that essentially lasts the lifetime of the bike and operates on, what, 1/4 the eclectically power draw. Except power is stated as: Power: 96W-High beam ,48W Low beam That would be a lot more than just double the brightness compared to 55W halogens, wouldn't it? |

I went ahead and picked up a set from Amazon. We’ll see. I think I still have a couple new stock sets in boxes. |

Thanks @Blake for the photos with size - that is much thinner than the stock light unit, but I guess it's tucked up under the flyscreen so hopefully there isn't a big gap behind it. @Schwiggy - how did you get the headlight guard on there? From the pictures it looks like the light is so thin there would be nothing to clip onto! I like the looks (and price! in New Zealand that's the same price as a stock housing from H-D) of this light, I'm guessing I'll need to undo the highbeam wire mod when installing this. For the headlight guard, it surprisingly clipped right on and seems secure enough to not fly off at highways speeds. You are right it's definitely much thinner than stock, but it doesn't look bad.

Also, I never did the high beam mod for the stock lights, so I cant speak to that. I just left my rocker switch in the middle position to keep both my lights on. It's nice not having to do that anymore. |

hi schwiggy have you taken it out at night where there’s no ambient light? i put 6000k LEDs in my Honda. they are great with city-night lighting, but out in the sticks i have to leave them on high beam to get enough light. wondering what you’ve found. |

6000k is too blue. The human eye picks up blue light the least. If you want to get the most out of your lighting, stick to the 4200-4300k range - "daylight" white. Court - anxious to hear how you like these. |

Installed late last week, really looks great. I did have to chase the mounting threads as they felt a little funky. I had other commitments on the weekend and will try to get the lights aligned tonight. In my initial look and getting close to aligned the beam looks wider with a sharper horizontal cut off. The halo parking lights really get your attention. Wire grill snaps on but the housing isn’t as deep so if it bugs me I may add a spacer or try to fit in as deep as shown in the pictures. (Didn’t want to force, which it felt like.) |

A rubber hose around the wire may help. |

On the cost, once you add the shipping to an AliExpress purchase, you'll be spending more than you will buying form Amazon - unless you want to wait till August for your light - and you will still be adding $7 to your order. Amazon will ship for free, and with Prime you'll get it in two days. My only worry with an Amazon purchase is whether everything we see in the AliExpress package will be included. The Amazon photos don't show the bracket for the front fender. I suppose one could transfer the stock bracket, but it would be nice to be able to use all fresh parts. |

Cool. Thanks! I'm a hair's breath away from buying one of these myself, but I am curious about the projection of these LED's. Years back when LED's were becoming the thing in flashlights, headlamps, etc., I found the projection of these lights to be quite limited. They were bright as hell to look at directly, but they didn't seem to throw light very far down the trail. If any of you using this unit have had opportunity to get out on a dark narrow road to give it a full evaluation, I'd be very interested in hearing how they do. Back when there weren't any LED options available for headlight use, I "upgraded' my Uly's lighting to HID, and these are bright as hell, and they throw a tonne of light down the road. If these LED's come anywhere close to my HID's in performance, I won't hesitate to pickup one of these units. Thanks in advance for any remarks on this matter. Cheers! A - |

I ordered from Amazon and they arrived in a couple days. I’ve been sequestered in Florida since February ... but am eager to get back north in the fall and give these a try. The stock lights, even with PIAA Ultra White lamps, are pretty much worthless in the hills around Woodstock. These could be a game changer. Anyone spent any night mikes with them yet? |

I'll test yours for ya, Court - just pop 'em in the mail up to Maryland By the time you're ready for them, I'll make sure the right connectors are on them and everything! |

Well, I had to join the club. I ordered them on Amazon and they arrived in about four days. I'm pretty impressed with the build quality and the brightness, and light spread is equally impressive. Light where I need it and not where I don't Prior to this I had HID bulbs fitted in my stock housings - 35w low and 55w high - and they were bright as hell, but the spread of might was not that focused, and it was difficult not to blind oncoming drivers no matter how I adjusted them. There LED's are a great improvement. I highly recommend these to anyone who can get their hands on a pair.

I just ordered these from Amazon. Riding home early AM from Orlando to New Smyrna Beach on SR44 once a month after poker was getting a tad iffy with the stock lighting. I’ll have them installed by next weekend and will report back with a review. |

I am very happy with these lights. Install was very easy. I initially aimed them to match the originals and haven’t touched them since. The improvement over the stock units is immense. |

These look good. I never have been happy with the HID I have on the low beam. I had to aim it down so I wouldn't dazzle on coming traffic and I have to wait on starting the bike till it comes up to full power or it shuts off when I hit the starter button. |
