Crusty, you could camp at Snug Harbor! It's only $10 a night. I've already got my tent site reserved. |

I'll be around, but likely on the other side of the line with Mennis . . .. not burnin the vacation days (with the Gap run planned for June, I gotta invest this limited resource wisely), but would like to meet the troops |

I'm getting to think this is going to be a bit like the old Drive-In Movie days where you find some friends in the theater parking lot, but a whole lot more of them parked out in the farm field outside the fence watching the movie from afar. |

Hey, you have to admit you were entitled to significantly more privacy in the farmers field, especially if you were with his daughter! Plus, who ever watched, much less listened to those "B" rated movies anyway? |

I'll be there. My S2 isn't back on the road yet, but it will be in the next couple of weeks. Even though my profile says I'm from East Troy (and my plates are still Wisconsin...SHHH!), I now live in Eastern NC (for 2 years). One of the things I miss most about SE Wisconsin are the roads. 1313 |

Well, it's official. I won't be there. I almost had my wife talked into letting me go, then the car died in the supermarket parking lot last night. That cost 200 bucks to get it fixed. then today, I got a Jury Duty Summons for June 3. I guess I'm not meant to be there this year. But there's always next year... |

Mike B.- I am still trying to decide whether to go. Our anniversary is the 4th so I am debating on it. She went with me in 2000 and I don't think either one of us had a real good time because of it. Maybe I'll ride over with you guys, stay a day and come home. |

Must have been one of those "Union" coffee breaks. Don't laugh, I have heard of several HD Vendors that get interrupted in the midst of their meetings so the attending engineers can take their breaks. And you wonder why stuff happens. edited by outrider on May 07, 2004 |

Bads1 - I talked to Craig and Doug last night and they weren't signed up yet. There is a lot going on around the dealership that weekend, I think they are going to try to make at least part of it. IA Mike - Gearhead and I are leaving Thursday (June 3)morning. I don't know what time, though probably pretty early so that we can get there. |

Flat Track Racing!!! The following is from a press release: The Dairyland Classic Presented by Revolution Performance returns to the 1/3-mile oval at the Sheboygan County Fair Park on Friday, June 4 to celebrate 20 years of motorcycle flat track competition at the facility. After five years on the AMA GNC, AMA Hot Shoe, and Formula USA National series, the event returns to its traditional AMA semi-pro sanction the night before the first leg of the U.S. Suzuki Superbike Doubleheader at nearby Road America. Racing will feature the 505cc Pros, featuring Daytona GNC ST winner J.R. Schnabel and 2000 GNC champ Joe Kopp, plus support classes for Vintage, Quad, 250cc Amateur, and 65cc Youth. Pro riders will have other opportunities to cash in as Revolution Performance will give $125 to the fastest pro qualifier and $125 to the holeshot in the main event. Additionally, several pro riders will be selected for the Jim Sumner Memorial Dash For Cash, which currently boasts a $550 winner-take-all prize, all of which has been donated by friends of the late GNC competitor. The Dash features an inverted start reminiscent of the 1970s where the fastest riders line up at the rear and the slowest at the front. For information on the Dairyland Classic Presented by Revolution Performance, contact Bert Sumner at bert2@dairylandclassic.com, call 262/339-7430 or visit www.dairylandclassic.com. The Brag Schedule for Friday Night is the farewell dinner and bonfire at Lake Lawn. The races start at 7 pm, Plymouth is 120 miles from Lake Lawn. So it's probably one or the other, not both on Friday night. |

Does anyone have a detailed schedule of events? The Buell website is vague (at best) regarding the schedule of events. |

I'm hoping to make the race track Saturday. Those of you lookin for saturday night entertainment could do far, far worse than Seibkens's in Elkhart Lake. It was one of the locations for the first Buell owners group meetings and one of the classic watering holes on the WORLD racing stage. It is the site of the notorious Randy Renfrow, Kork Ballington streaking incident. Read all the details here http://www.superbikeplanet.com/featureoldworldcharm.htm In fact, if I can convince a group to show up I would pass on the races during the day and use my "Get Out of Jail Free Card" to go to Seibkens Saturday night. |

BTW, anyone looking for a slightly different twist to the weekend, the Thunderbolts with Erik and other Buell guys are playing Saturday night June 5th 9PM to 1AM at the East Troy House bar in East Troy. This club has been having blues jams on Tues and Fri nights in a small area by the bar, but just added a big area in the back with stage, etc. So if you haven't heard the band for a while, and/or like blues and blues type rock, come on by! This is not part of the official entertainment, just good times off the clock! |
