This is going to sound like a silly question, but how does the trip odometer reset on an S1? It has the analog odometer, not the digital one that some tubers have. I see the button on the dash but I can't get it to do anything. It won't twist, I can get the button to pull outward a tiny bit... If I try to twist it I can see the spring cable behind the speedometer wiggling. I'm assuming something is rusted, but before I pull off the speedometer and pull it apart, I just wanted to make sure I want missing something obvious. |

Look on the back of the case for a knurled knob . . . twist to reset. |

+1. It should be a knurled knob that you spin clockwise to count up, until the numbers all match and climb as "777", "888", "999", then "000". The knob is held to the dash with a ring. The ring likes to vibrate off. Loctite is your friend |

Alright, I assumed that knob was supposed to spin. It looks like something must be rusted/jammed in place. I'll pull it apart and see what it's problem is someday when I've got some time. |
