I'm changing injectors on my Buell due to extensive Engine modifications and would like to know the standard injector flow rate. Anyone tested this that would'nt mind sharing the flow numbers? |

These are the part numbers I found but still no definite flow rate but one can only assume they are 35lb/hr. 2008 - 0026.1AMA Deka VII Type 4 2009-10 - 0026.2AM Deka VII Type 9 Most who have put turbos or other major mods went with 44-45lb/hr injectors and larger fuel pump. |

Thanks Terry! I have used Siemens Deka 80 lbs injectors and were looking for an easy way to change the MAP table without boost. I guess the safest would be to measure the standard injectors and compare to the new ones. |

Measuring your injector duty cycle can help you determine if the injectors indeed need to be upgraded. I'm not sure larger injectors are actually necessary unless you are running a turbo. Maybe an upgraded fuel pressure regulator might be the better answer for keeping the fuel supply consistent. (Message edited by terrys1980 on August 10, 2015) |

They will be stated by the manufacturer, but I'm not sure who that is or what the OEM part number is. If you can answer that, you'll be half way there. |

Yes I need bigger injectors since I'm running with a turbo. Regarding the fuel pressure regulator, I've tried that route Before I knew that the fuel pressure is regulated by a PWM signal to the fuel pump! Do I have to say it didn't work that well |

Well I guess the easiest route is to start up the bike with the new injectors and change the AFR value on idle and see what percentage I need to go down to. After doing this I can apply this number on all the map and get a rough map to start with. Also I'm using a PCV and have an extra pressure table that adds fuel when the boost goes up. |

Might need some of these. The V-Rod Destroyer package uses 60lb-hr injectors. http://www.ebay.com/itm/SIEMENS-DEKA-IV-60LB-60-LB -630CC-FUEL-INJECTOR-USCAR-/190400232342?hash=item 2c54bcfb96&vxp=mtr |

Any decent fuel injector shop can flow them for you. |
