have one on my 1125cr. very comfy, but adds a touch of height and thickness due to xtra padding. looked at corbin, but this was half the price. no regrets for $230. |

another plus 1 for the saddlemen. I have the suede model. I has held up great to daily riding for the last 10 months. I could be nit picky about the overall fitment to the bike, but the factory one didnt fit that well either. It looks good and feels good. great improvement. |

I haven't tried that one... One of the best decisions I ever made regarding my 1125 was to purchase a salvage seat off ebay and take it to a local motorcycle-seat-guy. I told him I wanted a plush, comfortable seat. He ripped everything off the seat pan and made a very comfortable, variable stage foam, synthetic leather-finished seat for Allison. I rode from Wa state to Ca and back in total comfort. His cost was $125, and I tipped him $50 for having it done in 3 days. We both walked away happy. Worth 200% of what I paid him. 7,000 miles so far and no regrets. |

Yankeer1, where did you price the Corbin? This is not half the price of the price shown on Corbin's web site. |

I don't remember, i just checked what seats were available. i may have confused it with another brand. it's been almost 2 yrs, since i looked it up. but Saddlemen does Gel seats better than anyone else i have found. had one on 3 different bikes. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably get a seat before the riding season starts next year. |
