Nice bike. I lived there at MCRD (Marine Corps Recruit Depot) while in boot camp in 1975. Didn't actually get to see the area since that would have meant going over the wall which was highly advised against. |

Gas? You mean I have to put gas in it??? The shipper delivered on Wed. and had a stabilizer strap on the bars that was tightened too much. No damage but had to reposition the bars. You have a good eye Sagehawk. Thanks. This Uly is Bi-coastal (from VA). |

I see everything! lol. Over the years i have a scanning system of what i think is important of how a machine is set up. thats the ocd part of me. It truely is amazing how some people redo things on their bike to make it last longer, go faster, stop quicker or to make for better ways for maintenance. in the end , thats what it is all about. Enjoy! |

Great looking bike Rurjim. I have a matching bike in black and love it. Smooth acceleration, a corner carver to beat the band, flickable as a 250 lb. bike, a great sport bike, a great touring bike, easy to maintain, very reliable, and on and on. You made a great decision. Ride safe and enjoy. (Message edited by BuellerXT on May 14, 2015) |

Rnrjim, I am also in San Diego. I know that American Sportsbike does occasional rides in town. Hit me up sometime if you want to meet up. I have a crazy schedule in June but mid-week rides are a possibility. I'm in Otay Ranch area. Jonsocal @ yahoo. Com. |

Jim, I have the same bike, an 09 XT. You may not know it yet but you just bought one of the best riding bikes in the world. The involuntary smile you'll have each time you ride, is called a permagrin. Welcome to the insanity. (Message edited by Zane on June 01, 2015) |

Mike - Thanks for the compliment. It's been fun as I start to get a feel for it. John - Just put on a set of Metzler Tourance NEXT to see how they feel. Will try to the make the SCAB ride this Sat. June 6th. Zane - The permagrin goes deeper than the surface. Definately not for the sane at heart. |
