Well here goes another one. I recently purchased another S2. 1995 this time. Custom powdercoated frame red metallic, 88" motor build from Cycle Rama along with other goodies. The bike had 1/8th inch of dust and needs some TLC and update on worn parts etc. Started yesterday with a mild tear down. Spent today working on the PM wheels and had new rubber put on them as well as new rotors and rear pulley. Pictures to come. Will udpate periodically with pics and progress. Stay tuned. | ||

Thats an old pic from years ago I believe. I have pics coming. Just been too busy and working nights right now. A little too much red though Dan. Iam taking care of that. It will be at the rally in July along with my silver one as well. | ||

   XB rocker box conversion and American Sport Bike billet backplate put on today. A few small issues but nothing to halt the progress. Going to put gas in tomorrow and fire her up. More pics and info to come. | ||

  Rubbed out bodywork and polished. Heading out to the garage today to upgrade to XB style turn signals. Need to get new bulbs for brake light as well. Gonna change oil, filter and trans fluid also. | ||

    more updates. Put on XB turns and cleaned up front fairing. Tomorrow going to change oil/filter and trans fluid. Need to bleed front brake lines as well. coming along nicely. | ||

I had a 2005 Yamaha raptor that was white and the frame was pretty much the same color as your frame. This is just some food for thought when you decide to paint. hehe | ||

Thought about metallic black with black rims or gunmetal grey. The red has metallic in it and is really nice. Just don't like the pinstriping. Anyway not going to paint for awhile. Going to get bike set up and have it tuned on a dyno first. | ||

Never was a big fan of pinstripes, but for some reason this really works well. It may also have something to do with your outstanding detailing work! Nice addition Jeff. | ||

Ok have a 2.5" header coming as well as a 2.5" Borla muffler. Gonna dyno that as well as the Drummer off my S1W hooked up to the header. Should get more power with this 88ci motor with the 2.5" header compared to the stock 2" Pics and results coming within a few weeks. Gotta get it ready for the rally in Colorado. Ahhhh but I have one that I bought awhile ago for the S1W. and it has a red spring. lol. Need to measure and make sure its the same length or will have to change front mounting bracket. experimented with race muffler. Put steering damper on as well.   |
