My light cluster on my dash is broke. I don't know what a good one looks like but the light harness keeps falling out of the holder. Any ideas on getting a new one? Or perhaps taking all the lights out and making individual holes in the dash for the light? I plan on making a new dash at some point. Any cool ideas would be great. |

Thanks I missed that one. Now the tough choice is a one off or a oem. The bug has bit me looking at everyone's bike. But time and money are killing me. |

these are the LED's that i used. http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/bl-214f.html I copied the Motogadget lighting assembly and inserted these LED's into it. Its a machined aluminum housing with a machined and polished tinted lens. Works great! (Message edited by purpony on April 17, 2014) |

the light harness keeps falling out of the holder This statement makes me think that it's just not properly installed. There are 4 'tabs' on the holder that interface with the (for lack of a better term) light bucket. Those tabs need to be engaged in the light bucket in order to firmly fasten everything in place. If memory serves, there should be an audible click when the tabs are properly put in place. The 'tabs' are the black things on the part in the eBay link. Just trying to save you $50.00 if what you have is not damaged, 1313 |

Ya the tabs are broken. The PO used like 4 zip ties to hold it on. I've been slowly going through the bike and removing the duct tape and zip ties that have been holding the bike together. I have to pick my battles on what to spend money on. I may super glue it together until I make a new dash. I know super glue isn't much different than zip ties and duct tape. But when I make the new dash I may just go with small led's of corresponding colors with holes drilled in the dash. |

Btw thank you everyone for your help and suggestions. I look at eBay everyday but never thought to look there. And if I had not removed the zip ties those little tabs are hard to miss. Anyway thanks for the help. And other ideas are welcome. |

And just in case, the part with the tabs is available as a separate piece. Bezel, indicator lamp, p/n 68383-96. The p/n leads me to believe it is a Sportster part, so should be available. Hope this helps, Dave |

Well I'm tearing into the bike as we speak. And the blue/white holder that the lights fit in is broke. I was going to plastic weld it but may try super glue cause its sitting next to me. I'll post a pic in a min. |

Pictures to big. It's not broke per say. It is supposed to separate so you can change lights. But mine is so brittle it keeps coming off. |

FYI I had a horrible time putting on my new clutch side controls because it wouldn't fit through the frame. This may be common knowledge but it you remove all the pins from the clip it slides right through. I wrote down the color order and it took less than five min. |

Super glue was a bad idea. Only thing I glued together was my fingers. |
